TSMC beginning production on 2nd gen. deep-ultraviolet (DUV) and extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) process node. The resulting 3nm chips promise power and performance gains.

I guess they added few more patents to their collection of 20K+ patents. This is what a real monopoly looks like. Luckily it's Taiwan and not China.

In a nutshell, it means future mobile devices will have faster processors with more features and that consume significantly less power, i.e., devices run longer in between charges.
