What an interesting thing to measure. So should we be buying when the index is at fear and then selling when the index is at greed?

I don't know... It doesn't tell you what to do, it just tells you what others are (most likely) doing right now. I'm not an expert to give advice on this.

I just found the fact that someone spent time creating a measure for FUD interesting. Isn't it?
