There are some things you wished you didn't know. Like the almost microscopic mites that lives on our eyelashes. They're known as demodex and feed on dead skin cells and some oil that comes with it. They're mostly harmless to us and are actually helpful but still...

Demodex are cigar-shaped bugs that lives at the base of our eyelashes. They're not harmful unless there's too many of them. Since they like eating dead skin cells and oil, they act as our body natural cleaning system.

Yeah, I try not to think of those little micro organisms living on our skin, hair, etc. 😅 I do know they are there and each one has a function, but trying not to think of those and it's easier when we don't know the names of those haha
