I guess it's hard for some people to sign up for Hive. Several people have told me this before. Maybe things could change if this situation was simplified.

LeoFinance tried once by offering Twitter Login and Ethereum Metamask Login.
Splinterlands also offers Email Signup!
But all of these still require the user to learn a lot of stuff before actually using the other parts of HIVE blockchain. Have a !PIZZA

Oh yes that is absolutely true. Learning Hive is just as difficult as signing up. It's actually much more difficult.

Since this is me..(Hey there 👋 ) I'll respond, too. I agree that jumping into the blockchain to create content is not as easy as creating a FB or Twitter account. However, there was a time when doing so was considered difficult for the average user. I remember. I was there.

I would tell people that social media would be as easy as checking email. Many didn't believe me, but now everyone uses social media and doesn't even think about what they had to learn. It's just a normal part of their day. The same will be true of creating blockchain content.

It will take time, but the thing that blockchain has baked right into the framework is the earning opportunity. The same behaviors we do on Twitter (like/retweet/reply, etc) are the behaviors here on D.Buzz that we can all earn from. Once folks get that they'll do what it takes.

This is a good conversation to have and I'm glad you brought it up. I've been taking notes of my own onboarding process and have been trying to figure out how to ease the pain points for others to join Hive.
