AYA NEO published a trailer for their White version of the device. Seems the change of the company's ownership didn't slow them down.
Still, are they allowed to show Mario like this without Nintendo's permission?

Probably not. But I think the worst they will get is a video taken down or something like that.
Oh yeah... But I heard of whole websites that got sued because they used Mario character for promotion without permission.

Yes but in general it isn't worth it for them to sue unless the other side has enough money. But I guess they could take that route if they deem it worth the effort to take down competition or because they can get enough money off it.
That's fair, they can target anyone, but considering the bothersome parts of the process, Nintendo won't bother with a small competitor like this one. (Maybe when it stops being small...)
