Dubai's Special Lamp Bulbs
Apparently, #dubai's ruler has enforced the use of a special type of energy-efficient #lightbulbs that have a long life...These started in 2016, and by 2021 they're still only available in Dubai.

It looks like fluorescent bulbs but I'm still not sure if it's exactly long lasting and economical.
Such lamps have been used here for many years.

According to the video? He says it's as bright as blubs of a higher wattage and lasts longer. He explains how it's able to do that.
The only difference is that this has more parts to it, but if it lives as long as claimed, I think it's very economical!

For someone who reads electronics like me, it's hard to think that bulbs of this color and size are more economical than white fluorescent ones. 😅🤔

From my understanding, it's because of how little current each one of those is given...
But you make me wonder now... Why Duai choose these over the flourescent ones? We mainly use them in Libya.

From what I understood from the video/comments: It's an #exclusive deal between the manufacturer and the distributer in Dubai.
But considering the longevity of these bulbs, they might not release them worldwide simply because of lower profits! People would buy bulbs less often.
