Me in middle school solving a math equation:
"The answer is 2. I don't know why but the answer is definitely 2!"
The answer was actually 2, but I don't know how I arrived at that conclusion. Didn't provide the steps & the teacher wasn't impressed.

Do you like Peirce the philosopher and Penrose the mathematician? Both argue that we have a way of knowing mathematical true. For Peirce is was a third way of knowledge, for Penrose it's like we have an instinct for it.
