I needed a Japanese IP address for one day and figured it'll be #overkill to pay for a full (or multiple) month(s) for this.

Quick research gave me the answer: ProtonVPN has #free Japanese servers.

Yes ProtonVPN Japanese servers are slow most of the time but sometimes really fast.
But it usually never automatically connects to Japanese servers

VPN isn't forbidden in Libya, as far as I know... It can be used to show blocked sites here, so I don't know if it'll stay that way in the future.

I mainly use VPN (only) for region-locked sites, and my main is the free version of Windscribe VPN.
