When we wake up, we normally do some unnecessary things that could affect the rest of our day and the funny part of this, is that, we don't know. Don't Remain In The Dark

We make this common mistake whenever we wake up, we like to remain in the dark, but that's not good for our body. Whenever you wake up, you need to switch on the lights and open the curtains in order for our internal clocks to get us ready for the day. Our internal clocks are super sensitive to light, so if we wake up and we don't switch on the lights and open the curtains, our internal clock won't know its day, hence, we would feel groggy but when we turn on our lights and open the curtains, our internal clock will send signal to our body, that its daytime, hence, we would feel more energized and alert to start the day.

Forget Hydrating

We normally make this unnecessary mistake, we forget to drink water just immediately after waking up, which is very unhealthy as drinking water immediately after waking up is super important, as it has so many health such as helping us with constipation, preventing us from UTIs, helping us with weight loss, boosting our immune system, helping to detox your liver, battling bad breath, strengthening our brain and many more. Don't drink cold water as this will shock the body and brain, and we won't be able enjoy the benefits of hydrating ourselves immediately after waking up. Always do well to drink one or two glass of water after waking up.

Don't Skip Breakfast

In this modern era, we are very busy and rushing to beat time almost everyday, which has made a lot of us to start skipping our breakfast in order to create additional time for us to get to work or class on time. Studies have shown that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why skip it? You don't have to eat huge meal, just have some oatmeal or yogurt with fruit, and that's all. If you are skipping breakfast to reduce your weight, think again, because studies have shown that people who made breakfast their largest meal of the day lost an average of 17.8 pounds over three months. Eating breakfast doesn't only help you lose body weight but also helps prevent us from diabetes, heart diseases and also helps to boost our performance and memory. Ensure you don't skip breakfast again.
