Man's complex relationship with tools and technology / Unity community challenge

Man's relationship with tools does not only start today, even in the days of our ancestors, they made use of these tools just like we do today, no farmer goes to a farm without a hoe or a pick and shovel, all of them are needed on the farm to carry out an effective job, but what I would disagree, is to believe that tools are ahead of man, because we humans made tools to assist and enhance us in our daily purpose.

Let's say that tools are the assistance of our operations, they enhance us human beings from overloading ourselves in the operations we encounter, it is through how these tools have helped us in most of our work that we continue to produce them at whatever angle we find them necessary, just like in ten decades ago, that local tools like shovels, spade and hoe were used by our ancestors who were mostly farmers, but these days we don't fancy such tools anymore, but we develop technological tool that help us in transporting our farm produce from one place to another and a good example of these machines used in farming is the tractor.

Human knowledge grows as time goes by, that is what I know, the idea does not originate from any tool we have in our hand, but the real meaning comes from the human head, when our minds connect with the brain they produce something meaningful, no matter how smart a technological tool may be, the main ideas originate from the thinking faculty of man, the world is a big universe that is why ideas are envisaged in so many angles, all this is done to better safeguard human beings.

If a person has something to deal with, without him telling the man next to him, the person next to him will not immediately know what is going through in his mind, he must open up first before the person next to him gives his opinion on how to help him deal with the situation, that is the same thing that applies to the machines we see in offices and also in our private homes, the machines may be intelligent, but those machines cannot function without the human being operating them, before the machines are able to do anything, the instructions must come from a person

The human mind cannot be seen, but what the mind can see are so many that we ourselves cannot even imagine, some of the tools that human beings created turns out to be a danger to human beings and I think anyone would agree with me because I have seen on television how men created alien machines that later refused to obey instructions, but they want to take over the power from the hand of human beings.

However, when this happens, it is the humans who will win over the aliens, no matter how big the aliens may seem, the human mind has a place where the greatest ideas are stored, even without the knowledge of the person whose mind it is.

With the way things look, artificial intelligence will be used in doing most things in the coming years. Most of the time, I think to the extent that these machines can perform tasks and it makes me wonder, it's great how man's relationship has developed with machines, but has anyone ever thought about what could happen if these artificial intelligences fall into the wrong hands?

The reason I say this is because, even in this day and age, there are still people who are still making use of local tools let alone having an understanding that man's relationship with tools has moved away from local tools to artificial intelligence. yes! I believe that man needs this artificial intelligence to help matters, to make human beings have a better life and to make this planet a wonderful place.

I love how you have defined the relationship between human and tools/technology.

Sometimes I feel we are empowering AI too much and there is this feeling that they can turn back on mankind someday. Most of these thoughts were inspired by things we have heard or seen in movies but in reality, this things needs to be given command to work.

Without human, it is definitely sure that technology wouldn't have existed and if AI eventually turn back on mankind, you should know that there are some humans behind it.

Thanks for participating in the challenge.

Hi @repayme4568 :) Thanks you for your article !

My concern with artificial intelligence is that it could itself become "bad hands". For the aliens, would not be so sure... I'm more afraid of politicians ^^!

We will see, but it is important that we keep one foot in each world because one cannot function without the other and a shovel, when there is no more electricity or other fuel, is still very practical !

Artificial intelligence has it importance to us too, but, yes, we need to keep one foot at each world because no one can really predict the future, we hope for more good.
Thank you for your kind words 😊♥️🥰💥

I like your point that we need artificial intelligence to take a breather, but that would be.... enslaving AIs? They would end up rebelling, don't you think?

Yes, I think so but If they do, man's have the ability to shut them down, thank you for your kind words.
