SLS Full Duration Test Fire
NASA wanted to static fire their main booster on a mapped flight profile for 8 minutes. This attempt was aborted due to a component failure in the hydraulic steering system after a little more than 60 seconds.
First Full Test Of SLS Booster Fails as Engines Trigger Emergency Shutdown.
Where it gets tricky is that the SLS booster has a limited lifetime of 1 year in a stacked configuration and the tanks can only be refilled 9 times. If this failed test delays progress by a significant amount, the whole program could run into serious trouble.
Transporter 1
SpaceX is launching 143 satellites.
The booster is a Block 5 on its 5th flight and will on a drone ship.
The mission to a sun-synchronous orbit will launch from Space Launch Complex-40, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Combined weight will be around 5000 kg.
