SpaceX is launching the 12th batch of Starlink satellites [Scrubbed] - Third Attempt

Edit 1: scrub due to bad weather. No follow-up launch-window for now. A SpaceX GPS launch is planned for tomorrow.


Launch attempt one was scrubbed due to bad weather at the launch site. Attempt two was scrubbed due to strong currents and severe weather in the recovery area. That was a novel reason for a scrub.

SpaceX is launching 60 additional Satellites for their own Starlink Constellation.

The booster is a Block 5 on its third flight and will land on a drone ship.

The mission to low earth orbit will launch from LC 39A at Kennedy Space Center.

SpaceX will attempt to capture the fairings.

Cargo:

  • Payload mass is approximately 18,5 tonnes
  • 60 Starlink Satellites
