A rare SpaceX launch from Vandenberg - Sentinel 6A [Live: 21.11.2020, 17:17 UTC]

SpaceX is launching the first of two sea level observation satellites.

The Science of #SeeingTheSeas: Update on Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich Satellite

The booster is a new Falcon 9 Block 5 and will return back to land (LZ-4)

The mission to low-earth orbit will launch from Space Launch Complex 4E, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.

SpaceX will attempt to capture the fairings.

  • Payload mass: 1'440 kg
