Progressively, I have been understanding the power of hive within the web 3.0, which is not only focused on cryptocurrencies and the rewards obtained by the creation of content, it is like a window to an infinite universe of opportunities that people have within the unstoppable digital era, where the blockchain is here to stay and in this way people can create and innovate, but above all change our lives from internal tangible projects that manage to transcend the blog itself.

This reflection that I share is born from the initiative that we promote from the #humanitas community, in which the following generative question was proposed: How do you think the hive platform (beyond the blog) can transform lives and their environment?, this regarding the linking of hive with theories or models of development where the epicenter is humanity, which is known as Human Development.

I take it for granted that my intention is not to define a development model, although I would like to express what is for me its importance and relationship with the Hive ecosystem, as a contribution to the initiative. To theorize human development we can find infinite definitions on the internet, as well as in the review of books that support it, from referents such as Mahbub Ul Haq, Amartyan Sen, Manfred Max Neef, Martha Nussbaum, Angel Hernandez, even the United Nations Program (UNDP) and other relevant antecedents that coincide in explaining what human development is about, as a proposal for the expansion of opportunities as people's capabilities are enhanced.

Hive and Human Development.

Now, from hive I greatly admire the efforts that are made in various communities and projects to promote directly or indirectly lines of action that have great contribution grosso modo with some sustainable development goals of the 2030 Agenda, since opportunities are promoted, such as:

1. Transparency: the world of blockchain, allows our transactions to be visible and without intermediaries, where assets are managed by their own will and no one controls them, nor privatizes, in this sense there is also a work to the awareness that opportunities are common and therefore it is intended to avoid abuse, this type of experience should be encouraged more to improve the credibility of organizations and institutions.

2. Education: knowledge and tools of the digital world that are helping to reduce the technological gap are socialized, thus supporting access to information and emerging technologies, as well as enhancing talents and creative skills.

3. Cultural Vision: promotes freedom through multicultural encounters based on respect, tolerance of practices, beliefs and coexistence.

4. Environmental: creates and promotes projects for the improvement of basic needs, for example, access to water in vulnerable areas.

5. Peace and social inclusion: every internal rule promotes inclusive language, the spirit of peace, mutual respect, non-violence and non-discrimination. I notice that hive promotes opportunities for minorities, historically excluded, to actively participate, have free expression and opportunities for personal and professional development. Likewise, there is a great participation of women in conditions of ownership and leadership of communities and projects in the platform.

6. Productivity: many people exchange and receive rewards from hive, this has been an opportunity to learn about collaborative and decentralized economies inside and outside the platform, to even acquire products and services that help individually and for the common good.

Although there are specific data, but I still do not know about these scopes that can be related to the objectives mentioned above, I think there are thousands of users who are part of changes at a personal, social, cultural and economic level, because the blockchain is the future and we are inside building and contributing.

Some people around me ask me with some intrigue what I do in hive and what I get from there, especially in a world where there is such a fluctuating behavior of the cryptocurrency market associated with high or low "reward", many of these people are disappointed in other platforms because they only see the blockchain from their own intents and although it is respectable, from hive I have learned in relation to human development that the intention is to contribute to collaborative practices.

The challenges of Hive beyond the blog.

It is then that, for me, hive is a technology that offers opportunities for human development from within and transcends to other spaces, because we have important challenges in the midst of the constant advance of technology and how to include excluded sectors that do not yet have favorable conditions in the digital era, therefore, the challenge focuses on:

1. Strengthening technological skills through training and socialization of information for good practice and good use of the platform as a shared responsibility.

2. Encourage sustainable collaborative economy practices over time, to generate greater credibility and trust.

3. Promote social inclusion projects, contextualized to the needs of localities and groups, based on the principle of the common good.

4. To gather information through research and systematization of experiences.

5. Maintain the active participation and inclusion of groups without any distinction or discrimination

As a graduate in human development I am very happy with what I live and learn every day on the platform, I am convinced that being in hive is an opportunity to grow individually and collectively, to the extent that we integrate mutual support to promote initiatives and projects, with which we manage to confront the upcoming challenges of this post-pandemic moment and make the most of the digital age.

A manera de introducción

Progresivamente, he ido comprendiendo el poder de hive dentro de la web 3.0, el cual no se centra únicamente en las criptomonedas y las recompensas obtenidas por la creación de contenido, es como una ventana a un infinito universo de oportunidades que tenemos las personas dentro de la imparable era digital, donde la blockchain llegó para quedarse y de esta manera las personas podamos crear e innovar, pero sobre todo cambiar nuestras vidas a partir de proyectos tangibles internos que logran trascender el propio blog.

Esta reflexión que comparto nace a partir de la iniciativa que promovemos desde la comunidad #humanitas, en la que se propuso la siguiente pregunta generadora: ¿Cómo crees que la plataforma hive (más allá del blog) puede transformar vidas y su entorno?, esto a propósito de la vinculación de hive con teorías o modelos de desarrollo donde el epicentro es la humanidad, el cual es conocido como Desarrollo Humano.

Dejo por hecho que mi intención no es definir un modelo de desarrollo, aunque si manifestar cuál es para mí su importancia y relación con el ecosistema Hive, como aporte a la iniciativa. Para teorizar el desarrollo humano podemos encontrar infinidades de definiciones tanto internet, como en la revisión de libros que lo fundamentan, desde referentes como Mahbub Ul Haq, Amartyan Sen, Manfred Max Neef, Martha Nussbaum, Ángel Hernández, incluso el Programa de las Naciones Unidas(PNUD) y otros antecedentes relevantes que coinciden en explicar de que se trata el desarrollo humano, como una propuesta de la ampliación de oportunidades a medida que se potencien las capacidades de las personas.

Ahora bien, de hive admiro en gran parte los esfuerzos que se realizan en diversas comunidades y proyectos para promover directa o indirectamente líneas de acción que tienen gran contribución grosso modo con algunos objetivos de desarrollo sostenible de la agenda 2030, puesto que se fomentan oportunidades, tales como:

1. Transparencia: El mundo de la blockchain, permite que nuestras transacciones sean visibles y sin intermediarios, donde los activos son gestionados por voluntad propia y nadie las controla, ni privatiza, en este sentido hay además un trabajo a la conciencia de que las oportunidades son comunes y por ende se pretende evitar el abuso, este tipo de experiencia deberían fomentarse más para mejorar la credibilidad de organizaciones e instituciones.

2. Educación: se socializan conocimientos y herramientas del mundo digital que están ayudando aminorar la brecha tecnológica, apoyando así el acceso a información y tecnologías emergentes, así como potenciando talentos y habilidades creativas.

3. Visión Cultural: impulsa libertades mediante el encuentro multicultural con base en el respeto, la tolerancia de prácticas, creencias y convivencia.

4. Ambientales: crea e impulsa proyectos para la mejora de condiciones a necesidades básicas, por ejemplo el acceso al agua en lugares vulnerables.

5. Paz e inclusión social: mediante cada regla interna se promueve el lenguaje inclusivo, el ánimo de paz, el respeto mutuo, la no violencia, ni la discriminación, noto que en hive se fomentan oportunidades para las minorías, históricamente excluidas para participar activamente, tener libre expresión y oportunidades desarrollo personal y profesional. Igualmente, hay una gran participación de mujeres en condición de apropiación y liderazgo de comunidades y proyectos en la plataforma.

6. Productividad: muchas personas intercambiamos y recibimos recompensas de hive, esto ha sido una oportunidad para aprender sobre economías colaborativas y descentralizadas dentro y fuera de la plataforma, para incluso adquirir productos y servicios, que ayudan de manera individual y al bien común.

A pesar que existan datos específicos, pero que yo aún desconozco sobre estos alcances que puedan relacionarse con los objetivos antes mencionados, pienso que hay miles de usuarios que somos parte de cambios a nivel personal, social, cultural y económico, porque la blockchain es el futuro y estamos dentro construyendo y aportando.

Algunas personas de mi entorno me preguntan con cierta intriga qué hago en hive y que obtengo de allí, sobre todo en un mundo donde hay un comportamiento tan fluctuante del mercado de las criptomonedas asociadas a la alta o baja “recompensa”, muchas de estas personas están decepcionadas de otras plataformas porque solo ven la blockchain desde su propio interés y aunque es respetable, de hive he aprendido con relación al desarrollo humano que la intención es contribuir a las prácticas colaborativas.

Los desafíos de Hive más allá del blog.

Es entonces que, para mí, hive es una tecnología que ofrece oportunidades para el desarrollo humano desde adentro y trasciende a otros espacios, porque tenemos importantes desafíos en medio del constante avance de la tecnología y cómo lograr incluir a sectores excluidos que no cuentan aún con condiciones favorables en la era digital, por tanto, el reto se centra en:

1. Fortalecer habilidades tecnológicas mediante la formación y socialización de información para la buena práctica y el buen uso de la plataforma como responsabilidad compartida.

2. Fomentar prácticas de economía colaborativas sustentables en el tiempo, para generar mayor credibilidad y confianza.

3. Promover proyectos de inclusión social, contextualizados a las necesidades propias de localidades y grupos, desde el principio del bien común.

4. Reunir datos de información mediante procesos de investigación y sistematización de experiencias.

5. Mantener la participación activa e inclusión de grupos sin distinción ni discriminación alguna.

Como licenciada en desarrollo humano estoy muy alegre con lo que vivo y aprendo cada día en la plataforma, estoy convencida de que estar en hive es una oportunidad de crecer individual y de manera colectiva, en la medida que integramos apoyo mutuo para impulsar iniciativas y proyectos, con los que logremos confrontar los próximos retos de este momento post-pandemia y aprovechar la era digital al máximo.
