Macro Photography: Gypsy Moth (Lacydes spectabilis)

The following are some macro shots taken by me last week. The subject here is a gypsy moth perched on a weed. I tried to identify the scientific name and found that it was Lacydes spectabilis, a species of moth classified in the family Erebidae. This species was first described by August Michael Tauscher in 1806.

I think I was lucky enough to get a background with nice bokeh. Well, that gypsy moth looks so cool with the bokeh bubbles behind it, right?
