Yesterday, after accompanying my sons to bathe at a local waterpark, I went for a walk looking for nice photography spots that were not far from the waterpark. I don't have to worry about leaving my sons because my wife is also accompanying them.

The waterpark is located in hilly areas and is a bit far from the city center of Lhokseumawe. Because there are many thick bushes around the outside of the waterpark area, I thought I could find some rare insects for me to capture.

Unfortunately, there weren't any interesting insects that I could photograph. But instead, I did find some tiny mushrooms growing on the roots of the deadwood.

I think these are fairy inkcap mushrooms belonging to the genus Coprinellus. They were young mushrooms whose caps had not yet been opened.

They are lucky because they are protected by a thicket of trees, so they are not exposed to the sun. Even the dewdrops were still stuck to their caps and stems.

In addition to capturing mushrooms, I also capture the rock-felt fern (Pyrrosia rupestris) growing vines on the tree roots. Although they are simple subjects, I think they look beautiful in macro lens shots.
