Polar Coordinates: Graphing With Polar Curves with Desmos Calculator

In this video I go over further into Polar Coordinates and this time show how to graph polar curves using the amazing Desmos online graphing calculator! Polar curves, as well as Parametric Curves, are one of my favorite mathematics topics and were in fact the main reason that I decided to start my YouTube channel! With a graphing calculator, it is possible to graph truly amazing and unique shapes using relatively basic polar and parametric equations. When using the Desmos calculator we can graph polar equations either directly as r = f(ϴ) or by first converting them to parametric equations in the form of y = r⋅sinϴ and x = r⋅cosϴ. Some of the curves that create using the Desmos calculator includes an interlocking ring, a cool star shape, and even a shape that looks like a leaf.
