Modularity in architecture and design is one of the best-known innovations invented by man. Not only does this ingenious invention save on cost, increase the efficiency and speed of operations, it also transformed how product components of various industries became easier to assemble with this excellent system. Take the field of furniture design for example. With the principle of modularity, manufacturing companies were able to quadruple their financial and production outputs due to its advantages.
