RE: The Last of Eden: A Unique Architecture of Yanomami

While it's true that primitive tribes still exist today, it's such a pity that their numbers are slowly diminishing. On a positive note, their ancient homes serve as beautiful historical inspirations for the humble beginnings of architecture. One thing I've noticed in all their dwellings was the necessity to provide a communal space - a significant area of their abode where they can share stories, mingle and converse with others, plus bask with their natural surroundings. Being social was indeed a fundamental human need that existed even during those early periods of our world's civilizations! Thank you @juecoree for sharing this interesting post!

Yeah, their numbers slowly decline due to consistent threats from outsider. From my readings, there is one tribe who has one survivor only, and in constant run due to ranchers, and illegal loggers in the area. Recently, an uncontacted tribe in Peru make contact for the first time with the government. They seek help for the massive destruction of their habitat. Their water source and food is polluted by miners, ranchers and illegal loggers.

Definitely! The communal living of these tribes reflects why humans should be socially aware of its community. Thank you for engaging in my post!
