Good morning, today I want to put aside the designs made in my professional career, to share with you a supervision that I carry out together with my brother @memj0310. I will try to be very brief but I will share with you the photographic record of the work carried out.
Buen día, hoy quiero dejar a un lado los diseños realizados en mi carrera profesional, para compartirles una supervisión que lleve a cabo junto a mi hermano @memj0310. Trataré de ser muy breve pero les compartiré el registro fotográfico del trabajo ejecutado.
When the roofs do not have proper waterproofing, the rains and humidity affect the home considerably. This is the case presented by the upper apartments of our building, that is why through a neighborhood joint it was decided to carry out the work of recovering the roof cover.
Cuando los techos no cuentan con una correcta impermeabilización, las lluvias y la humedad afectan considerablemente el hogar. Este es el caso que presentaban los apartamentos superiores de nuestro edificio, es por ello que a través de una junta vecinal se decidio realizar los trabajos de recuperación de la cubierta de techo.
The work carried out was as follows:
El trabajo realizado fue el siguiente:
1. Cleaning the roof deck.
It is important to clean the ceiling so that it is free of dust, greases, fungi among other things, this allows the waterproofer to adhere to the surface. To do this, rub the surface with a broom, and wash with water and detergent. Finally we must wait for the surface to dry completely.
1. Limpieza de la cubierta de techo.
Es importante limpiar el techo para que esté libre de polvo, grasas, hongos entre otras cosas, esto nos permite que el impermeabilizante pueda adherirse a la superficie. Para esto se debe restriegar la superficie con una escoba, y lavar con agua y detergente. Para finalizar debemos esperar a que la superficie seque completamente.
2. Seal cracks and repair existing peels.
With the help of a spatula all the peeling material was removed and then with plastic cement is sealed screams and joints between the asphalt mantle.
2. Sellar grietas y reparar los descascaramientos existentes.
Con ayuda de una espátula se procedió a retira todo el material descascarado y posteriormente con cemento plástico se sello gritas y uniones entre los mantos asfalticos.
3. Laying the asphalt mantle
At this stage 10 linear meters of mantle were placed in the joint of our building and the building next door.

En esta etapa se colocaron 10 metros lineales de manto en la junta de unión de nuestro edificio y el edificio de al lado.
4. Placement of aluminized reflective paint
Finally to protect the ceiling against sunlight and in turn generate freshness to the interior of the upper apartments we proceed to cover the surface of the ceiling with aluminized reflective paint.
4. Colocación de pintura reflectiva aluminizada
Por último para dar protección al techo contra los rayos solares y a su vez generar frescura al interior de los apartamentos superiores procedimos a cubrir la superficie del techo con pintura reflectiva aluminizada.
