I think drones are fairly amazing but I didn't realize it was incorporating 3D technology. I did know about cameras doing 3D mapping of houses for virtual tours but the new uses of application sure are amazing.

Yeah, it is indeed amazing. Drone technology has several application in surveying and environmental mapping.
