RE: Symbolism: Discovering stories of our built world

That was such a great read and such a good reminder of the significance, discussions and decisions that the early architects must have had whilst designing all of these structures, which reminds me of a topic that has been germinating in my mind for some time and this is the perfect place to publish it.

Isn't it funny how an author of fictional tales can influence our understanding and recognition of so many aspects to life and teach us so many other things that we would never have considered before.

I have seen both Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code movies but have never read any of Dan Brown's book though I do love a great mystery adventure as unfortunately I do not have enough time to read and when I do get the opportunity, for me it is Clive Cussler and for the very same reason that you cite Dan Brown, except my author uses factual information woven into adventure stories to focus on Archeology, Marine Biology, STEM subjects and global politics instead.

Wouldn't it be nice if everyone could read books like these and actually learn from the information in the stories like we both have.

(I just had to read it again) 😀
Thank you!! I really enjoyed your summary of a complex, but yet simple aspect to humanity's various ideologies.

I did read Clive Cluster too, but wasn't able to complete his Dirk Pitt series. I must say that it was a good novel and series too. I like how he relate archaeology and science. The last novel I read from Clive Cluster was the Atlantis Found.

I do not have enough time to read and when I do get the opportunity

Yeah, that is always the case. I did read Dan Brown books when a get long breaks from work and the older novels was back in university.

Yeah, it is quite funny how fictions can be used to grasp some aspect in our lives.

Enjoy a slice of !PIZZA.

I do like the Dirk pitt series as there is much more of the MArine biology and well STEM + architecture in general in there, but my favoutire series if the Fargoes as their storylines mostly focus on archeology.

I do have Atlantis Found which is one of 5 of his new novels that I have and have not read yet...You know he Died about March last year (I bawled my eyes out..😭..) so lucky his son Dirk- (yes that's right, Dirk) and all of his other co-authors are continuing on his legacy...

I really hope I get to have at least a hundred lives so I can get to be every one and have every career I always want to be, such as an architect/interior designer in one, Archeologist in another, successful program producer/director in this one AND a global traveling veterinarian (when I retire one day), and mad scientist in another, prime minister in another and so on and so forth...🤣 (true...)

Thanks for the pizza, I hope it's Vegan though! 😃

I never know this. It is good to hear that his son continues Clive's legacy.

It is really fun to envision multiple careers. I have some vision for having to experience another career. Wishing you to get to experience one or two of those.

Yes Clive was 86 when he died. Just a year older than my dad and as I said, I bawled my eyes out when he died so imagine how much I'm going to howl when my dad goes...😭

Everything that Clive wrote over the years- every element of all of his stories were meticulously researched so his stories really are like adventure encyclopaedias.

I have almost every single one of his books- about 70 in total- he is the ONLY author I collect.

Haa yes well I've had a couple of careers already and am just about to hit the last half century of my life (hoping that I live to 100 that is..) and so still have time for a few more. The problem is, that time is flying by way tooo fast!
