El ejercicio y el arte formaron parte esencial de mi domingo. Una de mis cosas favoritas al hacer ejercicio es que nunca tengo un lugar fijo; siempre trato de descubrir sitios distintos. Al final, la sorpresa de encontrarme con un espacio increíble hace que todo valga la pena.

Exercise and art were an essential part of my Sunday. One of my favorite things about exercising is that I never have a fixed place; I always try to discover different places. In the end, the surprise of coming across an amazing space makes it all worth it.

Esta vez, la aventura me llevó al Parque Los Caobos, en Caracas, Venezuela, y al encantador Museo de Ciencias y el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo.

This time, the adventure took me to Parque Los Caobos, in Caracas, Venezuela, and the lovely Museo de Ciencias y el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo.

No visitaba esos museos desde que era niña, y me sorprendió gratamente ver cuántas cosas interesantes y hermosas albergan. Lo mejor de todo es que la entrada es completamente gratuita, así que no hay excusas como "no tengo dinero" para disfrutar un día distinto y especial.

I haven't visited these museums since I was a child, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how many interesting and beautiful things they house. Best of all, admission is completely free, so there are no excuses like "I don't have money" to enjoy a different and special day.

Comencé trotando alrededor del parque —¡hacía tanto tiempo que no lo hacía!— y pude sentir cada músculo activándose. En este momento, estoy realizando ejercicio de forma intermitente: un día sí y un día no. Y definitivamente, el domingo se ha vuelto mi día favorito para actividades físicas al aire libre.

I started by jogging around the park - it had been so long since I had done that - and I could feel every muscle activating. Right now, I'm exercising intermittently: every other day. And definitely, Sunday has become my favorite day for outdoor physical activity.

El Museo de Ciencias me encantó. La información es muy completa y abarca muchos temas: animales, ciencia, investigación, sismos, y hasta descubrimientos paleontológicos como el Tachiraptor, un dinosaurio hallado en Venezuela. Lugares como este me devuelven la esperanza. Sé que no solucionan todos los problemas del país, pero también me recuerdan por qué me enamoré de una carrera basada en la curiosidad, la investigación y el deseo de saber más.

I loved the Science Museum. The information is very complete and covers many topics: animals, science, research, earthquakes, and even paleontological discoveries like the Tachiraptor, a dinosaur found in Venezuela. Places like this give me hope. I know they do not solve all the country's problems, but they also remind me why I fell in love with a career based on curiosity, research and the desire to know more.

Cuando era pequeña, asistir a este tipo de charlas y exposiciones me hacía pensar que existía un mundo mucho más grande que las cuatro paredes de una habitación. Que no se trata de decir "primero conozco mi país" desde la resignación, sino de entender que el mundo es uno solo, y que sí, podemos soñar con recorrerlo todo.

When I was a child, attending this kind of talks and exhibitions made me think that there was a world much bigger than the four walls of a room. That it is not a matter of saying "first I know my country" from resignation, but of understanding that the world is one, and that yes, we can dream of traveling it all.

Visitar espacios así puede sembrar una semilla poderosa en los niños. Por eso, recomiendo mucho llevar a los más pequeños a museos, para despertar en ellos no solo la curiosidad, sino también el hábito de querer leer, descubrir y aprender.

Visiting spaces like this can plant a powerful seed in children. For this reason, I highly recommend taking the little ones to museums, to awaken in them not only curiosity, but also the habit of wanting to read, discover and learn.

Luego visité el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo y fue una experiencia profundamente inspiradora. Cada obra parecía tener vida propia; sus mensajes realmente lograban conectar con quien las miraba.

I then visited the Museum of Contemporary Art and it was a deeply inspiring experience. Each work seemed to have a life of its own; their messages really managed to connect with the viewer.
