How I Spent My Sunday: A Day of Reflection and Productivity
So yesterday, was Sunday, another beautiful day to behold and worship God with the brethren.
Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to church due to financial constraints. So what did I do after all, since I wasn't able to go, I decided to read my Bible that morning, making sure I was not distracted with irrelevant things. I read the book of 2 Corinthians, where apostle Paul was testifying the grace of God in his life when at his weakest point, he told us that God's grace is sufficient for him. I reflected on this passage of the Bible and I found it encouraging.
Yes, I did make some note and point on my notebook before I closed the study.
After that, I went to take my breakfast, it was pap and beans this time around, and I enjoyed having this combo as my breakfast. When I was done with that, I took my medicine and rested for a while before I got ready to study.
Yesterday, I did random reading since I have almost exhausted the topics on my timetable. Hence, I was reading the ones which I felt I haven't I haven't covered enough.
I also looked out for some past questions too, it was an interesting session, as I was seeing some questions which needed to be tackled. I believe I spent hours doing this.
When I got tired, I when out to take a stroll, it was evening already and I didn't go far anyways. I had to take this few pictures of the sky when I noticed how beautiful that moment was.
The sun was going down already and this made the sky more magical to behold.
So after taking the picture , I went back home. Next thing I did was to go get my haircut. It was a journey of 30 minutes because this saloon is actually far from my house. I took a bike to this place and thankfully, there was only one customer there. I waited for the man. When it was my turn, I went and got the hair cut. Sorry I didn't snap any picture during that period, like I said it was late already and the pictures will be very bad if I snap them.
After that, I got home, took my launch and went to bed. Although before I slept, I read few slides before I dozed off.
This was how I spent my day yesterday. I'm glad it was productive despite not being able to make it to church. And thank you for reading my post. I really appreciate your time.
Dear @jsalvage !
James!
I walk to church every Sunday to attend the service! The distance between my house and the church is very short!
I'm ashamed of the fact that I live so comfortably and richly compared to you!😯
I pray every day for your financial difficulties to be resolved!
Daalu!
Thank you so much for your concerns, my friend. And please, don't worry too much about our condition here, it won't last forever. Smile
