Parents give the smartphone to their children and children became used to with it. After a certain time parents don't want that not to use it. Obviously it bring trouble but I think parents are the reasonable for it not the children.

Yeah, If the child didn't have access in the first place they wouldn't know about it. I'm feeling they give it to their kids to distract them, so they can have time to do other things. But of course it backfires
