Halliburton adds another oil well technology development to its arsenal

Well workovers are very important as they help to increase production because the wells in production that are stopped and then repaired are the immediate barrels that add to the total production. That is why all technology associated with this branch of the rehabilitation of wells is so important, the oil company Halliburton has installed a downhole electrohydraulic wet connection in deep water and provide this service to the Brazilian oil company Petrobras, which is considered in this branch as a significant achievement in electrical completion technology in the bottom of the well.

It is the same company Halliburton that describes the benefits of this technology as the first of its kind, apart from this this technology provides the opportunity that the tubing connections can be made in a single trip, which helps to increase the recovery elements in the well, since the integrity of the completion systems can be maintained during the time in which the well will be producing.
