Do you believe what you see in your own eyes

If I say you should not believe your own eyes then you will immediately refuse my statement. Most of the time what your eyes said is true but actually it is very relative.

Did you see starry sky above us. Do you think it is too close or too far. THe image you just saw are the images of the current time or images from the past. The iamges we see with our own eyes are not images from the very far past. But scienticists create very powerful telescope and it can help us to see the stars and galaxies from very faraway. This images are not images from present time. They are images from the past.

NASA's space telescopes also give us a way to look back in time. Telescopes help us see stars and galaxies that are very far away. It takes a long time for the light from faraway galaxies to reach us. So, when we look into the sky with a telescope, we are seeing what those stars and galaxies looked like a very long time ago.

We need light to capture the images with our eyes or other instruments. Light is the fastest thing in the universe so nothing can go faster than light. If the distant are too far we need to wait until the light from the stars or galaxies arrives. We measured too far away objects using light year. If some kind of object is 10 light year away from the Earth, they will see our 10 years ago image.

If you stand and look at the Earth with telescope from the planet that is 77 light years away from Earth, you will be still able to see the nuclear explosion from Hiroshima.

So you are seeing the past of the universe. The Earth is a small planet that orbiting the Sun not more. Why should we very proud of it. There are many stars and galaxies in the universe and there will be living creatures too. I can not sleep well while this thoughs are penetreating in my mind.

When will Aliens invade us? Noone knows.
