Been makng art assets and thinking about level design and some other enemies to add in this first part.
Progress is slow but now after I have added in room switching that works properly and 100% of the times I have
to add only the chat boxes as hard programming wall to climb for this game, the rest is gonna be tweaking and working on the level design(wich is not easy but I love this part!)

ROOM SWITCHING

The switching room object is easy enough and relay on this Game Maker Studio feature that let you change the Creation Code of a specific instance that fall under a group with same propreties.

Basically I just change the Target Room name and then the X and Y coordinates when the player collide with this specific obj_transition.

Now onto the chatboxes wich I'm still undecided if using an old method I know but is fast to make but take a lot of time to make each of the dialogue or learn a more complex system that once made though make changing and adding dialogue a piace of cake.

I want to make this intro level and then get back to some older game and see if the things I learned can apply on them.
