Blood Nocturne - Jam is over voting is on

Yesterday the bells ringed and the Vampire Jam is over after one month in the oven. It wasn't a super popular jam but in the end 16 games have come out and I'm proud to have made it in time with Blood Nocturne!

(I come up kinda randomly for the name as I didn't have give it enough tought as I was focused on gameplay and getting the theme right)

Now it's my turn to play as I have left the shelves dusty after one month of focus but I will probably do a postmortem because it has been such an expierence developing a combat system that I imagined but could not think to have this much stuff involved before getting the hands on.

Here's were I started with the first concept of what the game would be.

In the end I'm happy to have gone towards a less pixelated look as I think the atmosphere have improved this way and have not taken so much more time to make due to the flat color scheme. There are a lot of things that I wanted to add and make a little bit different. First is to make a more expanded and logical gameworld with proper sounds effects and soundtrack so I'll probably dive into that once the jam is over!
