• Amazon has officially opened its first datacenters in Africa at a time when demand for cloud services has surged due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• According to data from The NPD Group, the Nintendo Switch (which was launched in 2017) sold more than double the number of consoles in March 2020 in the US than in March 2019. Similarly, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sales in the US were up 25% yoy.
