now that I read this article I wonder how much use is left for fossil fuels, a few years ago just thinking that the value of oil would be zero was considered crazy because this industry is very profitable but if clean technologies and the new lifestyle of people can make the oil suffer the same fate as coal in his time.

I do not believe that the same thing will happen to oil and natural gas as to coal, since oil and natural gas not only generate energy but also obtain by-products that are still used today in gigantic proportions, the price of oil has only been a circumstantial product of the pandemic.
