This year, Google announced that Joker malware was in the Play Store. This harmful program has been in the Google Play Store since 2016. Google cited this as the longest-running risk they've ever had to deal with.

Google has already removed malware from 11 malicious apps. Several Joker malware apps have been uploaded to the Google Play Store.
