Facebook's Home Robot will tell you whether the door is open or not!
Facebook does not need a pointer like the traditional system to detect the location of the ‘home robot’. As a result, it can easily understand the source of the sound. A new audio sensor has been added to Soundspace. It can hear all the sounds that take place in the natural environment and accordingly can tell where the object is making that sound.
The home robot will tell you to go 25 feet away now or you can now go 25 feet northeast and pick up your phone. Surprised? AI assistants can know the path, navigation and the real environment around them in the future. It will even be possible to increase your memory through 3D space.
Facebook authority said in a statement, "To our knowledge, this is the first job where AI can see, hear as well as act accordingly." Researchers are working to improve the accuracy of the test through various experiments.
Facebook did not say exactly when it will unveil the AI. However, officials have hinted that it will happen very soon.

The truth is that I think it's great that this type of innovation exists, technology is increasingly advanced and Facebook has always been one of the best social networks or at least for me it is.

Fascinating idea from a technical standpoint. However, if I am losing my phone then I am an idiot, and at the very least I deserve to make the effort and find it myself; also, while not being paranoid about privacy, I find the idea of an AI that is always listening and can identify object locations inside my home a little disturbing :)
