Tips for going to dental surgery (personal case, this not going well)

Greetings friends of the community a few years ago I recklessly ate a chicken bone, I bit too hard and cracked a tooth, I went to a doctor and I rebuilt it, 1 month ago that tooth simply fell out and I said to myself "this is not well" . I didn't really give it more importance until last week when it started to hurt and I went to the doctor and he said "dental surgery."

I arrived today 08/07/2020 to the surgery we started and the Doctor after 2 hours giving me all his materials in my tooth tells me "we are going to suspend surgery" "you can faint me" "come better on Monday" obviously there are many the things that both the doctor and I did wrong, so I want to share this experience with you and give you some advice.

I must say that the doctor is very good, he will not be the best, but he works in the central hospital of my city, the largest and most important, recently I fixed a tooth for my mother that 2 previous doctors had not been able to, so how is it possible that in the middle of the tooth extraction surgery, he tells me "look, there's something that won't let me extract the tooth, go here 2 blocks away and take a panoramic view and bring it to me." Imagine me with my whole mouth full of blood, anesthetized walking to take the panoramic view, that was wrong, I understand why here in my country the doctors do not make you spend more, but perhaps, the panoramic view was not necessary from before Surgery?

The truth is that I am also a person who is too nervous and cannot bear the pain a minimum, to which the doctor tried to extract my tooth, I started screaming and he did what he could, until he suspended the surgery and reschedule it for Monday 08/10/2020 in the same way I am going to a hospital early tomorrow to see what another doctor tells me but in a hospital, because our doctor is in his office alone, I have the theory that in a hospital will catch me between several doctors and will be able to against the evil tooth.

Well friends here are the tips before dental surgery:

  • Buying soft diet food.

  • Clean the house well.

  • Ask a friend or family member to accompany you.

  • Have your transportation method coordinated.

  • Insist to the doctor that a dental panoramic is necessary.

  • Having a previous talk with the doctor of at least 5 minutes about the surgery, I could have told him that I was too nervous.

  • Have all the medicines purchased before the surgery.

  • Documenting ourselves well, we live in the digital age and at the time of the surgery I was wondering if the doctor was doing the appropriate procedure, however, when I got home I saw on YouTube how the procedure was done and it was the same as the doctor did That calmed me down a lot.

Chamo how crazy the panoramic views are mandatory before the surgeries, I think that if it was a lack of the doctor, I have visited the dentist very few times and for silly things so I have not suffered pain, for my wife the worst nightmare is going to the dentist , I hope everything goes well, success and strength

Regards

Wow, that was really something from that doctor.
The studies are very necessary, it's one of the few studies indicated by a dentist. It is also necessary to test for clotting, and indicate that you avoid taking any medications such as ibuprofen, diclofenac and those that do not clot well, to prevent bleeding.

That's not my area, but I do know about surgical procedures and there was essentially a big failure.
I hope everything goes better next time, although the fear will always be there.

That's right dear buddy, fear will always be there, my worst nightmare will be the dentist from now on, but fortunately the next day I went to another doctor and it was a blessing, the first doctor had his failures, I hope he learned there and does not repeat the mistakes
