3 WAYS OF JOINING OUR EFFORTS + PROJECT "HOPE" ECONOMY EXPLAINED

You may notice length of this post and wonder if it's even worth to read it. I tell you what: stay with me and I promise to make it worth those 10minutes of your time. And perhaps, just perhaps, you will end up becoming one of us.

Intrigued? I can only hope so ....

INTRODUCTION

image.png

I'm very positive that most of us are entering the New Yaer 2020 with some personal new year resolutions of our own, ideas of what we want to achieve and ever ready to focus our efforts on things that truly matter. And if we want to succeed, then it is absolutely crutial to set up realistic goals and expectations. Ambitious, yet realistic.

Today, I would like to share some of our goals and priorities for 2020. I will explain the economy model behind our community - the one we've been building for the past 9 months (since the idea of @project.hope was born).

Within the last few weeks, I've encoutered a number of challenging questions and the most common one went something like this: how can we provide 100% ROI to delegators? how do we benefit and earn steem? what's in it for you?

I PROMISE, that by the end of this publication you will learn all the answers for those questions and perhaps you will decide that our project is something you would like to be involved in. I will also reveal a few ways of joining our efforts and becoming part of our small, but cosy and well established community.

PROJECT HOPE - who are we

image.png

We're group of several individuals, STEEM blockchain early-adopters, building our influence and sharing our passions via the social media platform called Steemit.com (or steempeak.com). We also share similar interests towards topics related to technology, blockchain, AI, machine learning as well as business, economy, psychology etc.

When we started (me together with @juanmolina) - our initial idea was been quite straight forward: to help a small group of friends from Venezuela - some of them are well educated profesors: to secure extra source of income, which would allow them and their families to go through current difficult times.
More details (for those curious ones): https://www.projecthope.pl/about_us

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Within the past half year the idea behind @project.hope was shaped and it seemed that we've managed to build a healthy economy. An economy in which many different parties collaborate together. An economy which may allow those few Venezuelans and their families to better their lives and allow them to create "job positions" for themselves. Here. On STEEM blockchain.

Sounds interesting? I hope so :)

OUR PROJECT ECONOMY EXPLAINED

image.png

Our project is build currently on 3 different groups: DELEGATORS + CONTENT CREATORS + CORE TEAM

A)
Delegators do not receive upvotes from us as a form of payment. We do not sell @project.hope upvotes. Our goal is to provide delegators with 100% curated rewards, making sure that delegating to us is profitable and worth it.
so delegators = GROUP A

B)
We're upvoting manually with 100% VP - mostly publications related to tech industry + economy, publications posted mainly by several content creators who are part of this project. You can see those publications while visiting @project.hope and scrolling through recently resteemed post.
Content creators = GROUP B

All authors from our group are setting up 20% beneficiary from their posts to @ph-fund (project hope fund) and those resources will be used to support financially 5 well educated Venezuelans; right now I cover all those expenses myself and I'm hoping that within the next 3-4 months @project.hope economy will become fully sustainable.

C)
This way, all of those 5 guys (@juanmolina, @lanzjoseg, @fucho80, @jadams2k18, @pedrobrito2004) will manage to earn some extra money and we will be creating job positions for them.
Those 5 Venezuelans (CORE TEAM) = GROUP C

Their main goal of GROUP C is to promote our project channels and bringing more traffic to publications of GROUP B. At the same time they are helping me to get more delegators on board (currently almost 40 users, delegating around 250k steem power).

This way all groups (A,B,C) participating in project.hope are benefiting.

And what is in it for me? I'm in the middle of it all - building valuable contacts and expanding my influence. Win-win scenario (at least that's how I see it).

SHARE YOUR FEEDBACK WITH ME AND EARN STRONG UPVOTE

image.png

image.png

DOES IT MAKE ANY SENSE?

I can only hope that it does. It's crutial for me to learn your opinion and I would seriously appreciate each valuable feedback. I'm mostly interested in knowing, if this explanation does make sense to someone who isn't really involved in our project and who didn't know much about it till now.

Most valuable comments will receive 50-100% upvote - I like to show my appreciation and reward those who actually read :)

Obviously I would love if you could help us and RESTEEM this publication, so it would reach a wider audience.

Yours,
@crypto.piotr
founder of @project.hope and www.projecthope.pl

JOIN US

image.png

@Curators:

As mentioned before - all valuable publications posted by collaborating authors are being resteemed on @project.hope and also upvoted.

The trick is that we're upvoting each post several hours after it's being resteemed. That gives you an opportunity to maximize your own upvotes: all you need to do is visit our profile daily, check out recently resteemed content and upvote it (knowing that 250k SP upvote will follow within few hours).

HOW AWESOME IS THAT? :)
------
@Content-creators:

If you're a content creator passionate about said topics mentioned above, struggling with building an audience, lack of valuable upvotes and having little to no engagement, then drop me a message and let's get in touch:
telegram: crypto_piotr

I will gladly discuss options of you joining our team and collaborating with us.
------
@Delegators

Hopefully by now you think that our efforts are worth your support and you'll consider delegating some SP to help us grow. We will be happy to have you on-board our project and in return we share 100% ROI (curation rewards) with all delegators.

We share those rewards on a weekly basis and currently 1000SP delegated to @project.hope will result with a profit of average 2 STEEM / week (which is slightly more than pretty much all delegating bots are offering).

Thanks @yonnathang

Would you mind telling me how does this tipu work? Are you part of their curation group and you can select some publications to upvote by tipu?

Thank you for your support buddy,

Yes, sir. I'm part of a large group of curators.

It is a system in which each curator is given the opportunity to choose some publications that he considers of quality and contribution to the platform. A limited number of daily votes are available, which can be increased depending on efficiency.

The curators get a share of the publication's curating reward.

Just a few details. But it is a great curating system that has been worked on very well and is giving very good results.

Hello, Piotr.

Thank you for the great work you are doing through your project.

On the other hand, it is interesting to see how the backbone of what @ project.hope is formed. As we know, nothing is hidden here within the block chain, but it is always necessary to show a little more explicit the situation. This way we can reach as many users as possible.

I wish you success in this 2020, knowing that if you succeed, surely the rest will be able to take part of it.

Thank you!

Appreciated @yonnathang.

All our actions and methods have always been exposed. Each time we implement some creative method for the development of our project, it has been transparent and the participants have always had the knowledge about it.

ROIs, for example, are done equitably. Also remember that we are in blockchain and all transactions are public domain.

Thank you for your participation in our project. I have always been attentive to your contributions. You are definitely also part of Project Hope.

Your Friend, Juan.

thanks for your words; Yes, I am with the project from the beginning and for now I think it is best to make it known to as many people as there are still people and Venezuelans who do not receive support for their content and the situation. In the country it has only worsened in recent years. Thanks to these projects we have hope!

Hi @equipodelta

I just realized that somehow I didn't see your comment and I just read it now. Thx for being so responsive :)

ps.
Hope you don't mind if i take few minutes of your time?

Are you using steemauto.com? We've launched "Project HOPE" curation trail lately and I figured that perhaps you would like to join and support our efforts with 30-50% voting power

The way this curation trail is organized will benefit you: on average we trigger this curation trail only 4 times a day. And all upvotes from curation trial are being placed, solid upvote from @project.hope (almost 300k SP) will follow. This way your curation rewards should be quite decent :)

Also if you're wondering what content do we support, then please visit @project.hope and check out resteemed posts.

How does it sound? If you like this idea, then consider joining our trail

Hi Piotr,
Since you started @project.hope it is amazing to see what this project has become. It started out as a way to help some people in Venezuela and now it is a project that offers quite a lot of possibilities to everybody here on steem.

As a delegator and content creator, project.hope is for me the only real community here on steem. It fullfills a lot of things:

  • it helps people who really need it by providing them with a regular income
  • it helps content creators to get visibility
  • it helps delegators to get an interesting return on investment

In addition to that it is a very dynamic project that has the potential to become a real business for a lot of people.

I congratulate all the members of this project and encourage them to continue their work and dedication.

Best regards,
Achim

Thank you for your always supportive feedback @achim03

Im not sure if you remember, but you are the one who shared idea of using beneficiary within our publications. During my visit in Switzerland you've told me that this is posible. And right there, this very moment I started seeing new possibilities :)

Your input and your knowledge has enormous value for me buddy :) Sometimes I wish I could simply download everything you knew :)

In addition to that it is a very dynamic project that has the potential to become a real business for a lot of people.

Let me tell you a bit about our next step (something that is still on progress). We've teamed up with developers behind @holybread and our entire core team supported them lately with their game beta testing. It's a game build on steem blockchain and I really believe that this one may attract many users.

We're waiting for their ref-link program to be explained in details and most likely all 6 of us will focus our efforts for next several weeks on promoting this game aend all profits would be going to project.hope fund.

This way we do not need to be 'hired' to market some product. We may be able to do it ourselfs - without any "boss". And our paycheck will depend on results of our work.

How does it sound? :)

Cheers
Piotr

If it makes sense is hard to tell.
To me it is hard to understand and I think this can be written down shorter with only a few words. What I miss is what you exactly want/ask/expect from the reader.

Hello dear @wakeupkitty.

I found your comment excellent. Straight to the point.
Your question is very sensible and of great importance.

What I miss is what you exactly want / ask / expect from the reader.

I sincerely believe that what is expected of the reader is his support for publications. Greater number of readers means greater exposure, participation and quality comments. That would be the function of the readers.

If you only wonder that, I can assume that the topics related to the economy, the ROI to the delegators and other aspects are clear to you.

Your friend, Juan.

After I visited your site at https://www.projecthope.pl I am very interesting with your creator idea, I am also interested and want to join your team. But what about my account whose reputation is still low, the SP is also still small, is it okay if I join your team?

If I may know what @project.hope is there (talkingpoint.co - steemzzang.com - dblog.io)?
Please provide me with an explanation how to join via email. thank you

Dear @crypto.piotr, thanks for sharing the details about the economic bases of @Project.Hope and how is it structured. It is clear what Project Hope is offering to delegators in terms of profits. 100% ROI is attractive to stake holders who want to support great content creators. We are happy to contribute in the growth of the mentioned educated steemians as well as to be part of Project Hope to help more new steemians. One of our curators will review the project.hope blog to upvote valuable publications. Our objetives are focused also to help and build a better steem in 2020.

This publication has been upvoted and re-esteemed by Steemitas Club Team to reach more steemians.

Kind Regards,

I am passing the link of this post to other networks in which I share and I hope it reaches as many people as possible, that may be interested in being part of the @ project.hope and we can all grow in a Win-Win relationship.

Personally, I came to this blockchain less than a year ago, in this course of time I have learned a lot from many colleagues and I have shared diverse opinions and news on topics that are of shared interest. I have enjoyed a lot and it has also given me an additional income that is also an attraction in this relationship :)

Hi @ocupation

Are you guys have a long term plans of coding your own frontend? If so, are you planing on having your own token economics?

Those are interesting questions. And I must admit that I've been thinking about it from time to time.

I figured that coding our own frontend would be difficult, time consuming and expensive (I don't have necessary skills). At the same time I don't see much benefits, since it would be hard to convince people to use my own front-end (most tribes are having this problem - hardly anyone uses their frontends to post/read).

are you planing on having your own token economics?

Launching token on Steem-engline is an interesting solution, however right now I'm waiting for SMTs.

I've noticed that you have enormous knowledge about token economics. Perhaps I could discuss some things with you? Do you use telegram or discord? I would love to get to know each other closer, if possible.

Agreed, however I was thinking long term plan, in case steem reaches sustainable price lvl.
I assume it'll happen sooner or later and having long term idea might be a way to go.

Most of steem groups fails to deliver since majority was literally playing with tools steem-engine provides, showing how cheap it actually is to build on top of steem and how easy one can utilize POB concept.

The fact is That steem lacks mobile app which won't have aggressive add spaces and that will provide nothing more than a pleasent UE.

Yeah, I'll contact you via discord as soon as I fix my laptop and catch some free time :)

I think it’s an awesome project especially in a country like Venezuela where crypto adoption is at an all time high and growing rapidly!

What may seem like dark days now is actually a push towards the liberation of the people and they could become the example we all would likely want to follow in the future by decoupling money from the state on a national level.

Greetings Appreciated @chekohler.

I don't know why you have that feeling about the levels of adoption in my country, but I can assure you that not everything is as the siphras indicate.

There is an internal reality and an external projected reality.

Perhaps you are right to think that adoption levels are "the highest", but I assure you that it only represents a microscopic percentage of the population.

RC account creation, trigger account, 5 minute delay (can vary of course), project.hope trails the trigger account, promote trigger account for curation trail. 😎

I was going comment on this, since I noticed you're talking about it I thought I would bring it up by replying to your comment here, I hope you don't mind friend.

Users are more likely to follow a trail if there is a trigger account, due to the fact that curation rewards will be much better, thus offering better incentive to trail.

Support added to the post. Feel free to contact me on discord if needed.

Hi,

We also support Venezuelans - a music school who use the @fundakantoria account.

I ran a charity day to raise funds for them before Christmas which you can see a summary of in this post & video.

The music school is run as a way to take the children's minds off their hard lives and even a little STEEM, as you know, can go a long way.

I own both @musicvoter & @musicvoter2 which I use via Steem Auto's fanbase to upvote @fundakantoria and other members who produce music related content.

So the question is: how can we work together to help even more people?

Could you please DM on our Discord so we can discuss this further.

Thank you!

I think that @project.hope is a great project. I also think its great that you got so many delegators already and I can see you and your team work hard to make Project Hope successful. Currently my SP(upvote) is barely enough to even surpass the 0.02 payout structure so I won't be delegating anytime soon but I may in the future. At some point in the next few weeks I will show my support via creating a topic about your project in an attempt to help spread the word.

Keep up the great work,
@rentmoney

Greetings Appreciated @rentmoney.

Currently our participation "quota" is set to a minimum of 1K SP to delegate.

We have a curation trail initiative underway, but this is a developing issue. Once we complete this new venture, it may be a good option for you.

That idea you have to write about us is of great value for our project.
Don't forget to use our Telegram channel to share your posts.

Z drugiej strony lepsza jakość i będzie pożądanie dołączenia do takiej grupy.

#Hope to provide more support by the end of the week. Just wanted to quickly pop in while I finish up a few things for a client.

Happy thought: I just saw more evidence of the crypto force permeating the conventional online environment.

I want join as Team A, but there is not enough SP in my account.

I think as a part of Team B as a way to me joining this programme

Thank you very much informing this project to me, I hope can join this

Honestly I love the idea and the purpose. Sure a benefit is something we all seek. This has a purpose beyond that. My sister-in-law is Venezuelan and meeting so many wonderful people, this is the least anyone can do to help. Knowing others in countries in similar situations, it is the least I can do.

Hi @tryskele

Cheers, Piotr

I really like the trick you used in upvoting relevant post after resteeming. You allow it to gain it main reward before gaining the ph support. Thst really make sence.

I also like the fact that delegators will get 100% ROI which would give them more hope and reason to believe in the project and support/delegate more.

I was completely unaware of this project before reading it. After reading, I think I have a pretty good undestanding of what your goals are as well as a loose idea of the ideal mechanics behind it. Rather nicely done there. I have a question, however, as I am thinking of involving myself a little. Here is my inquiry: What are the primary topics and subtopics that content creators will be asked to write about?

I will give this an upvote and a resteem and I look forward to your response.

Happy New Year, @project.hope

Appreciated @badseedalchemist.

Thank you for participating and knowing a little more about us. I also appreciate your upvote and resteem.

The themes that our content creators develop and that are shared in our broadcasting channels, cover AI, philosophy, blockchain, crypto, investment and commerce.

We avoid relating to politics and religion since these issues are loaded with subjectivities that can create a negative dynamic.

Hahaa😀😀. We all make mistakes. Not a big thing.
I belongs to the western part of India. It is not a crime to hold cryptos in India but the Central Bank of India has forbidden other banks to have any connection with crypto dealers etc. So, it is very difficult to buy or sell with the exchanges.

Hi Piotr,
I really have to say that I am very impressed with what you already achieved in those few month! I believe project hope is not only in itself a worthy endeavor, but I also believe that steem org should delegate steem to you, as your project will definitely make a difference for the whole steem ecosystem. And I certainly hope that more people will delegate to the project.hope account so that it can pay for the project itself and not out of your personal pocket.
steem on!

Appreciated @solarwarrior.

Wow, great perspective that you present to us dear friend!

We have honestly never considered this concept. Getting delegation from steem would be a huge step for us. I believe that we still do not have the magnitude necessary for us to be taken into account in this regard. Although the essence that involves our project is very noble.

Thank you very much for your encouraging spirit and for knowing how to value our effort.

Your Friend, Juan.

to be honest I would be really surprised if your application would NOT be considered... there are many initiatives that get either direct steem.org delegation or SPS that are good but not as great as project.hope is... so I would strongly encourage piotr and you to apply asap!

Hi @solarwarrior, @juanmolina

Could you please tell me more about steem.org? I checked account on steemit with this username and it does exist, but it's wallet = 0.

So I'm not sure what steem.org is about.

ps. @solarwarrior
I personally rather like to target audience very well with showing what I do here. So I engage with people I value and then I share my ideas and links to our publications only with those that I want to be close to.

For that reason SPS are not my way. There is really to many difficult people out there and I don't need their attention.

I rather make baby-steps and collaborate with people I respect. Like yourself

Cheers, Piotr :)

I support your project as long as you and the beneficiaries stick to: "better their lives and allow them to create "job positions" for themselves". What I don't want to see happen is for the lives you are helping turn around then become political or activistic, and endanger the liberty of their supporters.

Helping lives is one thing, supporting resurrection is another. What regular reporting mechanisms will you put in place? How will these be broadcast to supporters?

I'm hoping you can get all these issues sorted out and that your project will template many more so that other disadvantaged groups can adopt and integrate your method into their own projects.

Appreciated @ianballantine.

Thanks for your valuable comment.

Within our work philosophy is to avoid addressing the political or religious issue in our publications. This is thematic that could create hurtful ideas of certain ideological positions, which often trigger undue reactions and "dirty" the exchange of comments.

As you can imagine, it is often difficult for our Venezuelan writers to avoid comments that allude to the socio-political situation of their country, since it is an extremely overwhelming and alienating reality for them.

What regular reporting mechanisms will you put in place? How will these be broadcast to supporters?

So far our dynamic is based on the curation of the publications that are resteemed in our blog @project.hope.
100% of the SP is paid weekly in a liquid way to our supportes in proportion to their delegation.
So far we have not decided to broadcast regular reports with curatorship or ROI information to our delegators. Although all the information is easily accessible at https://steemd.com/@project.hope.

Your Friend, Juan.

Thanks Juan, your comments have alleviated my fears of "take-over" for political or religious commentary. I trust you Juan, and your other loyal followers, to screen posts and comments. What has happened in Venezuela can happen anywhere where ideology replaces common-sense. Is there a place for Venezuelan writers in the Steem platform? Of course, all are welcome here. I look forward to helping your Project Hope grow and prosper.

hey @crypto.piotr and @project.hope,
yesterday and today I had some extra time to take a closer look at your project and other accounts somehow related with it. To be honest, on the last few months it was very quiet about the situation in Venezuela, but apparently it is not solved issue but just hidden from European or North American people. As long as it is quiet in commercial media, it doesn't mean that it is over. On the @help.venezuela I've read that unemployment and poverty together with huge inflation has escalated now into a huge crisis without any chances for a fast solution and current social system is on the extremely low level, providing monthly pension around 5$, which equals one dinner. And to receive this minimal support, people often has to wait over a night in a queue. I see that this project has a great potential to bring at least a partial solution for a current situation and improving quality of life for some people. Since now I will carefully follow all accounts related with this topic, upvote every post, try to be more active in the comment section and obviously follow closer the situation in Venezuela itself. It is not much from me, but at least something. Thank you for your job, honestly I believe that soon you will receive a lot of support from the outside(as we could read recently). You're a great person and your project really makes world a better place. Big up !

Thank you for all the support and interest in the situation in Venezuela.

You are right, the situation in that country has not improved at all, its production of its main export products has been plummeting, crime of all kinds and at all levels has been increasingly rampant, despair has led to a percentage of the population to migrate even if they have to go on foot with only the possessions that they can carry in their bags or backpacks, malnutrition is decimating the most vulnerable population (children and the elderly die of the most miserable and simple waning), the Failure of basic public services has already become part of everyday life (having a day of electrical service without interruption is already a rare luxury even in the Capital City of the Republic) and another lot of things ...

This can be depressing and perhaps because of survival, adaptation and try to maintain mental sanity, those of us who live it every day try to think about other things and take our time to produce something that gives us some joy and if that gives opportunity to complete the economic income and survive a little more, because then it is much better. :)

Hello friend @cubapl , I send you a big hug from Venezuela.

Indeed, you are quite right, the problems in Venezuela are still going on and every time it gets worse, the government hides a terrible reality that we live inside. I am going to allow myself to correct it is not 5 $ the minimum. it doesn't really reach $ 2.5.

Piotr, it's a great support for some of us and I agree with him in some way,
It is a good teacher to teach fishing, and that is what we need to know how to fish well in order to always bring food to our home.

We have converted this project into:

Hello dear @cubapl, thank you friend for your interest in our project and the Venezuelan theme.

You have rightly said that the situation in our country is only hidden from the countries of Europe and North America. There is a depressing situation in Venezuela.

Thanks to steem, @project.hope and other projects that are being carried out to help Venezuela, this is becoming a relief for many people in need of food, medicine and clothing.

In addition, what this initiative is achieving as a community in the great steem ecosystem is something significant and without precedents in this platform.

Thank you for inviting me to read this post! This comment will attempt to both answer your questions in this post, and continue conversations we have previously had.

I like that you are trying to build something real on #steem! It is my belief that profitable businesses when combined with #steem will comprise the next wave of success stories. I don't think that any business that gets its revenue fully by extracting #steem will last without a pivot to other revenue. With an already profitable business model, #steem becomes a competetive advantage.

Your post helps me understand Project.Hope a lot! One question I have is what are group C doing? It does not seem explicit in this post what these 'educated Venezuelans' are doing as part of the core team, nor what they are doing to earn the income, which might be the same tasks. The project would come full circle for me if their education could be transformed into something of value outside of the #steem ecosystem, or perhaps through it but not from it; this would also make the project scaleable for new group C members in a way that is not dependent on #steem price.

I am currently building two things on #steem - one is a fund that pays daily dividends, on @ecoinstats, and the other is a sustainable development project just getting beta-tested on @quintaesencia; I consider these to be side-by-side projects (like Ford Motor and Ford Foundation). As a part of the fund, I consider active projects to be the lifeblood of #steem, and try to partner with them.

Although the fund is low on delegatable #steem, I do have some delegations coming due in less than a month on @ecoinstar, 8-9 thousand SP looking for a new home, and project.hope is on the top of my list. I want to see what you can do with this idea, and I hope you make all the mid-course corrections necessary as you go to build something fantastic!

I would also love to get your feedback on my dividend paying fund token, INCOME, when you have the time! I am working on steem-as-a-service automation and write about technology topics sometimes.

@crypto.piotr You've actually come up with a great explanation about what this great community(@project.hope) is all about and I can confidently tell you I now understand the motive and intention of this community. I think you will actually be a very good teacher(just like you joke though) 😊.

I also love the fact that you tend to impact people's lives positively just like what you've done to create employment for some Venezuelan on Steemit. We all are much aware about the unfavorable condition in Venezuela and I also sympathize with them all in the cause of whatever difficulties they may actually be going through.

As for project.hope, I think community like this should be supported. I just hope Steemit Inc or team will also show their support by delegating more steem power to this great project because this is actually one of the things we need on Steemit. I am quite sure this project will attract more content creators and even new users on Steemit due to the reward or support they can get for their quality posts. I think a time would actually come when we will need more people in the Curation team to avoid drudgery or more work pressure on a single person.

I will also want to ask about the requirements required to join this community as a content creator. What can I also do to gain the attention of the community anytime i make quality posts about the required niche.

In conclusion, I must commend you and the team for coming up with this great community like this which will surely impact the steem blockchain positively.

Thank you for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great week ahead 💕❤️💕

Appreciated @hardaeborla.

Thank you for your valuable input and comment.

Again I am reading that proposal (steem.inc delegate SP to project.hope) So far we have not handled that idea, but you are not the first person to think about it. Maybe this could happen.

I will also want to ask about the requirements required to join this community as a content creator. What can I also do to gain the attention of the community anytime i make quality posts about the required niche.

I invite you to use our broadcasting channels (telegram, discord)
You can also join our hive (https://beta.steemit.com/trending/hive-175254) and if you wish to publish it through the interface.

Your Friend, Juan.

Hello Piotr,
I think it's impressive what is achieved already. It can for sure make a difference!
On #SPUD9 I powered up 150 STEEM and would like to delegate these plus additional 50 STEEM to make it 200 in total.
It's not a lot but I think many small delegations can be helpful too.

Hopefully, I can raise this delegation soon.

Keep on the good work and

STEEM ON!!!

To tell you the truth, small delegations matters almost as large ones for one simple reason: it's encouraging and inspiring us to continue what we started. For that reason I'm already greateful for your support. Regardless of it's size.

Cheers buddy

Hello @crypto.piotr,
as you might have seen I undelegated to support our witnesses as much as possible.
Also, I just moved some STEEM to my account to do even more.

Now, that we might move to a new chain I'm preparing for that move.

But to answer your question: No problem to join your trail. Consider it done.

Dear @crypto.piotr, this platform needs such a sincere and well thought out plan to help people who are capable but are not in a good condition because of their circumstances. I am 100% sure that project.hope will be a great success and it will be able to achieve its goal in a short period. I have delegated some SP to this mission and I am willing to delegate more but I don't have enough SP and I am also not able to buy more as cryptocurrencies are banned in my country. So, I am trying to earn as much as possible and trying to power up so that I may have enough SP to help people.
Thank you!

This is a great project. I had run myself a small charity project on my account, however I did not get enough user engagement so I cancelled. However, considering that this time there are more interesting initiatives like @project.hope and that beneficiaries can be directly selected from Steemit interface, I may get back to it.

Greetings, @crypto.piotr: PH does seem like an interesting project, but there are a few points I am unclear on:

  • Are creators accepted from all countries, or is the focus on Venezuelans only?
  • What language(s) will the creator posts be in (my Spanish is no bueno)?
  • How do you determine that a given creator is 'worthy' of PH support - what is the criteria or basis for that determination?
  • If I choose to delegate SP, but later (be it weeks or months) decide that I have another need for that SP, how easy is it to undelegate it so that I have access to it again?

The source of my hesitancy is mostly my concern over the political situation in Venezuela. I admit this is largely due to ignorance and a distrust of the mass media news outlets in the United States to provide an unbiased picture of the situation there. My (likely flawed and oversimplified) understanding is that the country there is very polarized into the ruling elite and the impoverished lower class. If this project is really only benefitting the elite to the detriment of the lower class then I would be reluctant to support it. I would be fine with a core team that comes from the elite, but truly are working to improve the situation of the disadvantaged lower class. It would be even better if the supported creators are disadvantaged people from any part of the world that is similarly polarized.

I am perhaps overly cautious when it comes to such projects because too many (not necessarily on steem) have turned out not to be what they claimed to be. But I also desire to be educated where my understanding is flawed. Ultimately, I wish to aid the truly disadvantaged and not further the cause of the already privileged elite.

Cheers!

Dear @jdkennedy

Thank you for this thoughful feedback. I appreciate it a lot. My answer will be quite long - hope you don't mind.

1 and 2)

Are creators accepted from all countries, or is the focus on Venezuelans only?
What language(s) will the creator posts be in (my Spanish is no bueno)?

Even currently all authors/content creators @project.hope is collaborating are from various different countries.

Please have a look at publications resteemed on this account - all those posts are created by different users from all over the world. All those publications we resteem and promote are in english. I like to read what I upvote and I do that whenever I can.

At the same time I'm not planning to expand core team anytime soon (those 5 individuals from Venezuela).

How do you determine that a given creator is 'worthy' of PH support - what is the criteria or basis for that determination?

It's not an easy question to answer. Such a user need surely post about topics mentioned in the post (related to blockchain, technology, economy etc.). And that mustn't be steemhunt post / advertising.

So far I'm focusing on supporting creators, who I got to know and who I value and see as a very active and responsive towards others. There are no strict criterias.

Also the way we communicate right now is quite simple and straight forward:
each author after posting new article is sharing with others by posting link to this publication on project hope telegram channel (or posting it within our hive).

If I choose to delegate SP, but later (be it weeks or months) decide that I have another need for that SP, how easy is it to undelegate it so that I have access to it again?

Undelegating is very easy and it's instant. Whenever you decide that you need your SP, then just cancel your delegation. And I will only be grateful for all your support.

I understand your concern about political situation in Venezuela. We're trying to avoid topics related to politics and religion at all cost.

My initial goal was to help change life of few people for better. And somehow I build my friendship with those few guys and Im helping them on absolutely human and personal level. Without looking into politics of their regime.

If this project is really only benefitting the elite to the detriment of the lower class then I would be reluctant to support it.

Fair enough. However this project isn't benefitting the elite. @fucho80, @juanmolina, @pedrobrito2004, @lanzjoseg and @jadams2k18 - those are all regular people. One of them is a pastor, some others are university professors. People with knowledge, passion and families to feed.

This project allows them to earn just a few $ extra, but it's a gamechanger for all those guys and their families.

Also all those 5 guys are working very hard (here on steemit) to earn those few $.

I am perhaps overly cautious when it comes to such projects because too many (not necessarily on steem) have turned out not to be what they claimed to be.

I'm sure you may still have some doubts and questions. From my point of view this project is very unique - mostly because at the core of it is one person: it's me. And I'm doing it all because I reached point of my life, where I'm financially comfortable and I want to make a difference. I want to help few people I care about to better their life. However I don't want to give resources - I rather help them create some "job position" which will allow them to secure extra profit. Profit that depends partly on their own work.

Thank you again for your comment

Yours, Piotr

I appreciate your thorough response! I have no issues with the core team or yourself for that matter. I felt it might be useful for you to hear from a skeptic :). I must admit that I have not (yet) spent any time in the community. I suspect when I do I will get a better appreciation for the project. The fact that it is a global project (which I probably would have found out for myself) gives me a better feeling about it.

Who would I specifically be delegating SP to?

Cheers!

Wow. What a prompt reply @jdkennedy

I felt it might be useful for you to hear from a skeptic :)

Truly it is very useful to hear opinion coming from someone who is a skeptic. This is how I can improve things and I always like to understand how other people feel about things I do.

Who would I specifically be delegating SP to?

Thank you also for willingness to support our efforts with your delegation. Please delegate directly to project.hope.

Also if you have a moment then allow me to share this link with you: https://www.projecthope.pl/passive_income

Basically all received curation rewards are being distributed between all delegators on weekly basis. With 1k SP delegation you will be receiving around 2 steem every weekend.

Dear Piotr,

I am glad that project hope is pushing through.

I just want you to know that as of now, the wisest thing for you to do is to make a token and issue them to your team. I am not against paying anyone but:

  • its value has the power to increase if kept in token form
  • it would serve as an insurance that anyone who kept posting using your tag will not get "officially" paid by you

I salute you for supporting the Venezuelans and, I do not have anything against it. But, aren't you going a bit myopic? I mean, why Venezuelans only? Why not everyone who meets whatever criteria or qualifications you set up?

I believe that you will get more people to support your cause if you will expound your boundaries. Any citizens living from any parts of the world have an issue or another with their lives.

What I am saying is this: Capitalize on your ideologies and expand from there!

I am wishing you all the luck and, rest assured, I am supporting your causes.

Good luck for the year 2020!

Dear @nurseanne84

a)

I just want you to know that as of now, the wisest thing for you to do is to make a token and issue them to your team. I am not against paying anyone but:

That's very interesting concept - the thing is that it sounds like something difficult to do and I don't think we're ready yet.

I'm also not really sure how to bring value into such a token. Issuing token to your team will not bring demand. And providing people with something useless and worthless - simply doesn't make much sense.

So to answer your question: it may be wise to make a token, but I'm not sure how to do it right.

b)
You've also asked: why Venezuelans? For no particular reason, really.

My initial goal was to help change life of few people for better. And somehow I build my friendship with those few guys and Im helping them on absolutely human and personal level. Without looking into politics of their regime.

My personal interests on Steemit from the very beginning were all topics related to technology, AI, blockchain etc. Those few guys are sharing similar passions, are very supportive towards others and active. And slowly but steadily we've started building something together.

It's not like I decided that I like people from one particular country. The fact that there is so many users from Venezuela on Steemit is probably partly a reason why I ended up collaborating with some of them.

Please keep in mind, that authors @project.hope is supporting with upvotes are from all over the world - please have a look at our resteemed publications to see part of content shared and upvoted by us. Basically any content creator who does write about mentioned topics can join us. We're slowly and steadily expanding.

Any citizens living from any parts of the world have an issue or another with their lives.

True. However all those few venezuelans invested months of their own work and time to build this project from the scratch with me. So naturally they are my biggest concern, since each one of them put some real effort already.

LASTLY: I want you to know that I've been always grateful for your comments and never ending encouragement.

Yours
Piotr

and maybe start trade/invest ... like you've encouraged me to be more active inside #steemit platform, here I am, @crypto.piotr

Hope that you'll answer and soon as i'll have minimum of 1000 steempower i'lldelegate to your project as well.

Let's support our projects from both sides ... i've started already with a donation of 1000 #lnbt

Just spread the word, so people would start to invest in my #lnbt

https://steem-engine.com/?p=market&t=LNBT

I know, people wants everything for free ...

For me to be able to donate steem power to accounts like hope.venezuela or many others, or to donate steem coins instead of #lnbt people should start to invest.

I'm offering giveaways through blogs related to my music, or others music from atomcollector platfom or musicoin, but i think people should have their own participation as well ...

Thanks.

Regards.

I thought long time what is exactly yours project - project hope. Now I get the valuable answer what you exactly do and how it project work now.

I think is really good that small group of involved people can bring that much to the steemit blockchain and in that way help poor people in Venezuela.

I am really surprised that you Guys can share 100% ROI, which in this times are really almost impossible to see around. Good luck with your vision and I hope so that you will be prospering better and better in this new year 2020!

Happy New Year @Crypto.piotr and this is the first post by @Project.hope

As you mentioned in the beginning about the post length but certainly its worth and this post shares adequate information about Project Hope and its future plans. Few of the things that I liked and want to mention-

  • We focus on everyone (content creator, delegator and team) which is good and I think this way everyone will be happy and even we are open for more delegation and even creators who share the same interest but struggling.

  • Delegation reward definitely higher as compared to other bots and it will help us to get more delegation since everyone likes to get more ROI and we just need to spread more awareness. Even I have asked a few of my friends to add some delegation (this won't be big as they are not whales) but any support will make us grow.

  • This project was started with a vision to help few people from Venezuela on steem but with the passage of time and we have grown and our vision too. I am quite confident that in 2020 we will be in a position to support many more. I hope more people will come forward to support us this year because of our bigger plans to support and grow the community.

I know man, you have been putting lots of money and effort in this project and hope you will be feeling good to see it growing. I am proud to be part of the project and will always support. You can always count on me.

Thanks for sharing the nice post with everything about PH. Fantastic first post of the year and worth sharing so re-steemed to bring more eyes on this.

Thanks much.

@crypto.piotr please know that you are one of the few steemians I look up to. I am grateful that you are creating something good not only for the beneficiaries of @project.hope but Steem in general as well.

If you look at my SP most of it is delegated to me. I have just over 500SP only. That aside I do upvote and resteem your posts.

If you have something not very technical in mind- a topic/ event- I would love to write about it for you maybe once every 7-10 days.

Thanks for thinking of me, but a lot has changed since we last chatted.

Since then almost all the people who communicated with me either left steemit or, for whatever reason, stopped answering me, or if they did respond, it was with the promise that they will answer soon...and then never do (a typical web behaviour)

Also, as from the last HF, when rules were changed so as to encourage vigilantes to flag everyone, dozens of new accounts were opened, with no comments or posts, just flagging everyone while remaining safe.

I object to these useless bastards flagging me, even if it costs me nothing. So, I had to rethink my strategy.

I decided I no longer am interested in earning Steem and the whole idea of Rep is a game for vain childish minds (I can say that since for a time I was one of them).

I very rarely post anything apart from my personal articles and stories. As most of them have #steemchiller as my beneficiary - I no longer worry about flags, as they are not flagging me (it seems they got the message, as they stopped flagging me). You can see a notice about this on my Big Posts of my LC Books (at alt accs arthur-grafo8, for instance).

So, since I never make tech or crypto posts and nobody can upvote me, there is not much point in my involving myself in projects. All I want to do, right now, is get my books on the blockchain and then I'll see...

Have you abandoned the stories you were writing?

PS: If I see posts that I can tell are from Venezuela, I give them an upvote, whatever their post is about. That is about all I can do for now.

This is a brilliant project. @crypto.piotr, i wanted to go through this post earlier but I just didn't get the time. First of all, congratulations for just a brilliant project. This is truly a great thing you're doing and this a great use case for steem blockchain. I hope to check out some of @project.hope content but I am sure it's good content. Using that, you're supporting talented authors, 5 families and providing incentives to curators. Hat's off! A delegation will be coming from me as well, hopefully soon. Keep up the good work my friend.

Hi @karamyog

Over and above anything else, the biggest problem for you on this project is you open with these two paragraphs – and then you steadfastly fail to actually do what you say in them. Possibly because you're missing the basics of economics; it's so common these days that it's almost impossible to tell if real issues are rooted in a simple ignorance of how systems work. But at no point do you really explain how you can provide 100% return on investment to delegators, how you actually earn Steem, and most importantly – what's in it for me.

The text provided smacks heavily of the classic pyramid scheme (as much of the crypto space often does).

But let's go in a little more specifically.

Delegators do not receive upvotes from us as a form of payment. We do not sell @project.hope upvotes. Our goal is to provide delegators with 100% curated rewards, making sure that delegating to us is profitable and worth it.

How does that work? You have made a naked assertion without any kind of support. Anyone that's been around a while knows that delegation doesn't actually provide effective 100% curated rewards that grant 100% return on investment unless someone is defining "100% return on investment" so loosely as to make the statement meaningless. Are you suggesting that you can make at least as much SP/STEEM of that delegated amount as I could – if it were just sitting unmoving in my account? That's easy; it would be earning nothing and earning nothing or more is trivial. Are you suggesting that you can make as much SP/STEEM off of it as I could as a manual curator? Maybe that's true, but if that's your claim, you actually have to provide numbers to back it up.

We're upvoting manually with 100% VP - mostly publications related to tech industry + economy, publications posted mainly by several content creators who are part of this project. You can see those publications while visiting @project.hope and scrolling through recently resteemed post.

This just says that you're one more curation group and that I can see what posts you're upvoting. Congratulations, that gives you exactly equal stature with everybody else, which translates into none. You are going to have to provide numbers that actually state that your upvotes are going to content which is rewarding at a level that makes anybody's external investment worth putting in. You have to show a successful trend. Now, it might be sufficient to show a list of posts and content which you have recently been active in voting up, but not doing some of that here makes this a lousy pitch. You're making me do work to justify giving money to you. I'm doing your job. I'm not going to do your job.

But okay, sure – let's give you the benefit of the doubt and go look at the things have been recently Re-Steemed by Project Hope.

Oh, look. The vast majority of it is cryptocultist content, mindless beating the drums in favor of Cryptocommodities and telling everyone around you that they are good people for being involved. Nothing particularly revelatory, but worse, nothing in particular that every other group of curators on the platform isn't also doing. Nothing differentiates you from the vast bulk of the rest of the platform. Worse, nothing really differentiates you from Trending, the worst possible competition you could have.

All authors from our group are setting up 10-20% beneficiary from their posts to @ph-fund (project hope fund) and those resources will be used to support financially 5 well educated Venezuelans; right now I cover all those expenses myself and I'm hoping that within the next 3-4 months @project.hope economy will become fully sustainable.

Yeah, that's great and all – but what if I don't care? This is one of those things that you seem to think is "what's in it for me," but has nothing to do with being in it for me. It's in it for those five guys that you're supporting. Five guys that, ironically enough, you make sure to identify as "well educated," and which inherently begs the question "if they're so well educated to have such interesting things to say, why don't I just vote for their content myself? That way I could use the full power of my un-delegated VP and reward the more – if they are providing content I actually think is valuable."

I can only hope that it does. It's crutial for me to learn your opinion and I would seriously appreciate each valuable feedback. I'm mostly interested in knowing, if this explanation does make sense to someone who isn't really involved in our project and who didn't know much about it till now.

The truth is that it's a bad pitch. The truth is that it's not really a great idea from the bottom up. Other than charity, there's no good reason for anyone to delegate their SP to you or your project because you are aggressively evasive about providing actual numbers which speak to rate of return. In fact, you spend a lot of time at the beginning setting up how this is a great financial idea, tap dance around anything financial, and then get to the midpoint and start spinning toward how humanitarian it is. This is a common problem with things in cryptocommodities, the only thing they know how to sell is get-rich-quick schemes and don't trust enough in what might be an interesting part of a pitch to go with that.

As it stands, this is definitely the kind of project I would advise everyone with disposable SP (if those people exist) to stay away from because it doesn't have enough of a coherent aim, enough of a direct plan, to hold together. Its vagueness tied together with good intentions. That is no way to run a railroad.

This would actually be more interesting as a project which specifically existed to promote an upvote content about Venezuela. If you went out of your way to find Venezuelans writing about Venezuela or even people from outside writing about Venezuela and then providing commentary on what they wrote, that might be something worth supporting. It would certainly be a lot more interesting. What the investor would get is more content about something they're interested in because that kind of content receives greater rewards. What the curating group gets is more curational rewards. What the creators get is more creator rewards. Everybody gets what they actually want.

But that's not what you're selling; what you're selling is a wish in one hand and a dream and the other.

I did warn you that you probably wouldn't enjoy what I had to say.

There are just very few communities out there, where people actually engage with others. Im myself proud of our achievements.

I also found it easy to criticize others.

Good initiative you got going here and it worth my support. Have been looking for ways to bring people most especially students to the steem blockchain to earn a living and support their education reducing the pressure on their parents/gaurdians and have been racking my brain to see how i can do that without making it seen like a waste of time and resources to them.

Thanks for the shout out about this post and Happy New Year @project.hope and @crypto.piotr! I love the concept of this project and how it has grown. Over the last year here, I gotta say you @crypto.piotr you have been tenacious and dedicated to inspiring community and positive growth within the steemit platform! I personally wish I could lengthen my day to create more creative consistent content and had more time to read so many amazing blog posts! It seems it really takes a few people that have the financial freedom and time to keep at this idea, creating worthy content and community crossover. Keep at it mate this year gonna be the best yet!

Hi, thanks so much for supporting the Venezuelan community, I wish your project much success. It would be nice if you could maybe show some examples of earnings, say if you delegate 1000 SP to project.hope, how much you can expect to get back per day or per month etc, with so many groups A,B and C it is hard to understand and some people might just bypass it because it isn't simple. People in this day and age are very time poor so it needs to be easy and diagrams help too.

I was asked for my comments and here they are, although you may not like what I have to say:

This project is just another form of circle-jerk (although in reality, the entire system is mostly a circle-jerk and it is designed to perpetuate it), so I have no problem with that.

There are far more than 5 people from Venezuela struggling to earn a few cents on this platform and I would like to see the most needy get help instead of a select few. How can we determine who actually needs help the most?

At what point do we/you determine that your chosen 5 have learned to fish well enough that another 5 should be supported?

It seems discriminatory to choose certain topics that will be supported while anything you don't find interesting should be rejected as bad content no matter how good it is or how much effort goes into creating it. At least when people curate naturally, they choose what to read and vote on their interests. This "system" seems to kind of force the votes that may not otherwise have been given; or taken a vote away from someone else because the vote was used in the system and now the VP has run out for what might otherwise have been curated by the voter.

Please don't take my comments as hateful or as an attack; It is not my intention at all. It is just that I don't beat around the bush with my words and I say it as I see it. Under normal circumstances, I would simply not say anything at all, but I was invited to come here and give my opinion. I have always believed that the truth is better than a lie and that it is better to hear the truth than to believe everything is fine when it is not.

At least you know that I've read your content and I made an effort to give you my honest opinion.

Dear @happyme

I'm grateful for your comment. We clearly disagree, however I always appreciate opinion coming from those who do see things differently.

It's quite very first time someone called our efforts "circle-jerking" and I wonder what does it mean in your opinion. >

There are far more than 5 people from Venezuela struggling to earn a few cents on this platform and I would like to see the most needy get help instead of a select few

I'm sure you've heard saying 'think globaly, act localy'.

Right now within past 9 months (since @project.hope started) I've spend already so far around 10k steem of my own money to support several people from struggling countries, who I tried to help. And I will be most likely spending my own funds for next 3-4 months, before this project will become fully financially independent.

I collaborated with other Venezuelans, with few Nigerians, few from Bangladesh and different part of the world.

Out of those several people only those 5 worked really hard (and didn't disappear after recent hard fork). So I'm focusing my efforts on helping them in the first place.

So to answer your question: How can we determine who actually needs help the most?

Just look into our own hearts and that's where we will find the answer. I'm not here to help those who needs help the most. I'm here to help those that I care about and who work hard to change something in their life.

I looked into mine and I found my answer. I got to know all those few guys very well. I learned about their lifes, about their hopes and families. And I learned to care about them.

Please don't take my comments as hateful or as an attack; It is not my intention at all.

Of course. I fully understand that I'm not being attacked here and it's obvious to me, that not everyone out there will support this idea. However great and noble I may think it is.

Please allow me to reassure you, that I actually value your feedback greately.

Thank you,
Yours, Piotr

Dear Piotr,
I'm very touched by your response. This tells me a lot about who you are.

Thanks for the explanation about how you chose the 5 people in the core team. I can understand the logic there.

You asked: "circle-jerking" and I wonder what does it mean in your opinion.
It is simply a group of people who keep their votes among themselves. As stated before, it is a very common practice here on this platform.

As you are probably well aware, I too have been trying to help others in my own small way for as long as I've been here. It is natural to gravitate to those who work hard on this platform, however working hard does not necessarily equate to need and could be strictly because of greed. In fact, the priest who performed my marriage ceremony was one heck of a greedy, lying and cheating life form who thought he was superior to everyone else. I didn't fully understand how bad a creature he was until I met him once again at someone else's wedding.

Speaking of priests: Don't assume because of a chosen profession that this makes anyone somehow a better person. The Christian religion has a history of child-abuse among their pastors and my own cousin was sexually abused by a priest. To me, sexual child abuse is one of the most despicable acts one can imagine.

Perhaps now you understand why I got a sour taste in my mouth while reading your post.

It is impossible to really get to know anyone from afar. It is difficult enough to know those who are close to us. Sometimes ignorance is bliss and it is definitely easier.

I too invested some of my own money in an effort to give out bigger votes on this platform. Unfortunately, immediately after I invested, the value of Steem went down and on top of that, they changed the algorithm for payments. That has severely hurt my ability to accomplish what I had intended to do. Perhaps it was a sign from God, or simply bad luck. I don't know, so I just keep plugging along, doing what I had been doing until I get a clearer message.

I do hope that you will be able to help a wider audience eventually. In the meantime, I respect what you are doing and understand that we need to start somewhere and it is natural to gravitate to those who resonate with your own thoughts and beliefs.

I haven't put nearly as much effort as you did into gathering a following and it shows. I simply allow those interested to come to my pages to decide for themselves if what I'm offering appeals to them or not. It seems most people here are seeking the quick fix instead of the slow and steady approach. I see the same kind of responses in the political arena and that hasn't done anything to improve our living conditions either. Sometimes people are their own worst enemy; they vote emotionally rather than logically. Then again, there often are no real good candidates to vote for anyway, and one political party is as bad as the other.

Hello @crypto.piotr,
Thanks for the invitation. I've not found curation to provide much of an income, especially since the last fork where more of our earnings are scraped off for those who already make a ton more than most. Additionally, I need to preserve my VP for those who participate in my own offerings so that I can reward those who support me and allow my account to grow in order to have more VP to then help others with.

Dear @Project.Hope,

Let me start by congratulating You for all the amazing work, helping others the best way You can ;)

Allow me to denote that..

I'm very positive that most of us are entering the New Yaer 2020 with some personal new year resolutions ...

It's Year.. YEAR x)
( ..just letting the troll in me out of the cage for a while =P.. )

Oh and..

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

It goes more like, "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish, and you have one more fish."

Now for real, Project.Hope is an awesome project as I might have already stated a couple of times before ;Þ

Everything is well explained, and the core-team definitely deserve all the best, they all create great content and indeed are well educated I must say..

Yet I can't find anything of value to add at the moment, there was a plan and it has been put to work, so, keep it up, this is one must needed project and example on this platform!!
( Now let us hope more people follow the example ;).. )

Wish You all the best,
Cy

First of all, what you intend to do is noble. There are, however, some kinks that would have to be worked out before I would invest.

Second, my understanding of your three-tiered system is as follows: Team A provides SP through delegation to give big upvotes to the content creators in Team B, who have agreed to delegate part of their author rewards to Team C, the five chosen Venezuelan authors who will be earning their support by reaching out to delegators, promoting Project Hope's channels, and promoting Team B's content. Project Hope then delivers the curation rewards to the delegators, and the agreed-upon percentages from Team B's author rewards to Team C's members.

Having now laid it out as best I understand it, here are some additional questions and statements:

  1. How is it that Project Hope can guarantee 20 percent above what we would earn if we were to manually curate the articles Team B is putting out?

  2. A statement: 20 percent is not a convincing metric to me since under normal circumstances I probably would not have seen much of the content in Team B. This leads to the next question:

  3. Will Team B's subject matter expand with time? This comes from the knowledge that only a certain number of people are into reading and voting on the content Team B produces, and if Steem were to drop significantly, you would need to shore up Team B's readership in order to maintain even the same level of reward to distribute and remain profitable to delegators at the level you have promised.

  4. Somewhere on this page you have presented a metric of every 1,000 SP delegated putting forth a return of 2 Steem every weekend. How would this be accomplished, exactly?

  5. A statement: those of us with good facility in math know that with there being 52 weeks a year, 1,000SP delegated will lead to a ROI of a little over 10 percent a year for just about 10 years -- ASSUMING things in Steem stay as they are. I'm not going to lay out the math here. That's your job. Those of us who don't have a round 1,000SP especially need to understand how the percentages work, and both whales and the whale-minded smaller delegators may discount your project just because you didn't provide the numbers.

  6. Assuming things will stay as they are in Steem is a fool's proposition -- so, in generalized terms, how will you provide stability in ROI given that you cannot control the direction of Steem and that you have chosen to make Team B limited to niche subject matters that may or may not grow in proportion to changes in Steem?

  7. What reports will you generate to show transparency to delegators?

  8. A statement: I have been to your passive income page, and this is what is written: "if you were to delegate 3k SP increasing total amount of delegations to 60k SP, then you would receive 5% of all curation rewards on weekly basis. Therefore your delegation will serve a great cause and you will enjoy passive income." Again: I have sufficient facility in math to understand your example, but I also have sufficient facility in reading to know that on this page you have already said that the account has 250K in delegation already, meaning the possibility of investing 3K SP and picking up five percent in curation rewards every weekend is long gone. Again: whales and the whale-minded who notice the contradiction are likely to discount your offering from the gate. We need the real numbers, and we need them to match. I am not going to do the math here to correct the percentages for you on what 3K SP will actually earn an investor in who comes in while you already have 250K, although I can. That's your job. The fact that you have not done it already I like to think is an oversight.

My heart wanted to break off what I could spare and put it in this project -- however, I have not achieved having more than 1,000SP to work with in just ten months here by following my heart. When numbers clearly do not jive, I do not invest. Because I care about the work you are doing, however, I want you to seriously consider and solve these problems so that the project can be as credible as it can be when I return with more resources in hand to look again. I wish your project well.

Dear @deeanndmathews

Thank you for sharing your valuable opinion with me.

Having now laid it out as best I understand it, here are some additional questions and statements:

Your summary is correct and you indeed understood our concept very well. Please allow me to try to answer some of your questions.

How is it that Project Hope can guarantee 20 percent above what we would earn if we were to manually curate the articles Team B is putting out?

I'm afraid I've lost you here. Project.hope guarantee redistributing 100% curation rewards, but I never mentioned that it would be 20% above what you could make curating manually yourself.

Could you please clarify you question?

The only way I've mentioned 20% is when I wrote that all content creators collaborating with us (group B) are setting up 20% beneficiary and those funds

Perhaps I could share with you link to our discussion we had 2 months ago, when idea of setting up beneficiary started?
I hope this post would explain in more details what are those 20% being used for and idea behind it.

Will Team B's subject matter expand with time?

We're planning to expand when it comes to amount of content creators we're collaborating. Our main interests will still gravitate towards topics related to technology, economy and psychology.

Im slowly inviting one person after another, who I value and I see that such a person is supportive towards the others and active on steem. Plus is sharing similar interests and values.

Somewhere on this page you have presented a metric of every 1,000 SP delegated putting forth a return of 2 Steem every weekend. How would this be accomplished, exactly?

Meaning? Assuming that you would delegate 1k SP, then ever weekend you will receive around 2 steem. That amount is based on average curation rewards project.hope has been receiving within past several weeks).

Does it answer your question?

You've mentioned ROI and you're very right. It's surely little less than 10%. However it's 100% of curation rewards we're receicing - it's already more than most bots owners offer and it's more than majority of people are earning with manual curation themselfs.

Small example: you've 1300 steem and your last week curation rewards are less than 1steem. With 1300stem delegated to project.hope you would receive around 2,6 steem.

Which still isn't much - it's still kind of pennies.

ad 6)

how will you provide stability in ROI given that you cannot control the direction of Steem

I'm not providing fixed ROI. What I'm trying to do is to provide 100% coming from curation rewards to delegators. And I'm focusing on collaborating with people, who's are willing to support our efforts and our vision. People who care mostly about ROI and who will see better opportunities elsewhere - they will just go their own way.

ad 7)

What reports will you generate to show transparency to delegators?

So far noone who delegated any SP did ask about such a reports. So right now monitoring @project.hope wallet is more than enough - since all transactions are transparent (blockchain). Once every weekend I'm planning to claim rewards and distribute 100% of them to delegators. Not much to report there.

ad 8)

I also have sufficient facility in reading to know that on this page you have already said that the account has 250K in delegation already, meaning the possibility of investing 3K SP and picking up five percent in curation rewards every weekend is long gone

Good point. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but ...
a) if you delegate 3K and total amount of delegation is 60k (and those 60k allow us to receive 120 steem in curation rewards), then your 5% of all curation rewards = 6 steem.

b) if you delegate 3K and total sum of delegations reached 250k, then naturally your 3k will represent less than 5% of all delegations and you will receive less than 5% of all rewards.
As a matter of fact your 3k will represent only over 1% of total delegations. However assuming that 250k SP delegated would allow us to receive 500 steem in curation rewards - you will still earn 6 steem at the end of the day.

That's your job. The fact that you have not done it already I like to think is an oversight.

Indeed. That's surely my job and I'm glad you've brought it up. I'm planning to work on new website sometime next month and I will try to explain math in more details.
One thing I've learned is that by going deeply into math - we're losing interest. So it's always very difficult to balance it and provide people with explanation that they would actually bother to read. Without losing such a reader.

My heart wanted to break off what I could spare and put it in this project

To tell you the truth, I value your input as much as I would value your support with delegation.
One more time thank you for this set of few amazing questions. I absolutelly appreciate your comment and time you invested into sharing your thoughts.

Yours, Piotr

Hello @Crypto.Piotr and all the team in @Project.Hope!! Thank you very much for the invitation to this post in which I finally get to meet this great project. Certainly I've seen many members of the group with a great engagement in the platform, always an inspiration for people like me that struggle with such dedication in here. I'm happy to visit and know more about your great effort which I see getting good fruits. I think that thanks to this well exposed post I have a better picture of the work and goals of the project.

I'll be attending your publications and trying to get in touch commenting and upvoting, definitively your topics are something that I have a lot to learn. I send my best regards for all the members in the core group, creators, supporters and of course for the head of this wonderful project. May 2020 be a year of many satisfactions and growth.

Hi @leveuf

Cheers, Piotr

Hi all, I would like to give you my perspective on this topic.

In the beginning, I didn't understand the goals of @project.hope very well. At this moment, I feel it is a great project with ideally set-up incentives. I really think from this project can benefit all the three groups - A, B and C, described in the article.

I just delegated 1000 SP to @project.hope a few minutes ago to participate not just as a member of group B, but also as a member of group A - delegator.

I think Steemit is about communities. One itself without any support can be lost here as a little fish in the pond. I am quite happy that I am also a member of my Czech community, but as I like to express myself in English also, I feel very well in the company of project hope members. The articles about psychology, technology, blockchain, economy, business, marketing etc. are just about my favourite topics, so that is great for sure in my eyes.

I wish more success to Project Hope in the future! Great job, pals!

I think its economic model, not economy model... otherwise content and explanation looks pretty clear to me.

Hi, @crypto.piotr! I've been busy since the beginning of 2020, preparing my new phase of creating crypto content! @ project.hope, has several options that favor everyone who gets involved. I would recommend that anyone approach this initiative and can contribute in some way to its development.

Virtually all steemit users are somehow "content creators", others are lovers of blockchain, cryptocurrency, ai, etc. By joining all these factors we have already reached the user profile required to enter @ project.hope, to live an experience like no other.

In the same way, we all progressively accumulate a certain amount of SP associated with our account ...
This is the point where I would like to make a recommendation:

"Maybe I could plan, accept delegations of 50SP, 100SP, 200SP, 300SP, Etc."

I think that could give you opportunities to join smaller fish and new users who are interested!

With love,
@nachomolina

I hope I contributed to the forum!

Bye, friends ... :)
Luck!!!

I use SteemAuto. So I will check out your trail.
What do you think about the Hive HardFork?
There is a suggestion that Justin Sun will do away with Downvotes. What are your feelings about this?

Greetings, a pleasure to be back here with the small but powerful team of @project.hope (of which I feel very proud to be part, since they are a unique team) and more than anything to read all the progress that has been obtained with a lot of effort and dedication from the colleagues.

First of all thanks to all the people who delegate, and contribute their grain of sand in one way or another so that everything goes smoothly, God will multiply it.

And I can tell you that it is truly an honor for me, and a pleasure to belong to a project like this. And even more to know that in steemit there are people trying to help others through a good work, as does my friend @cripto.piotr, to whom I am grateful for the opportunity and also for helping many Venezuelan colleagues who are part of the project.

Since I entered the project, I have noticed commitment from everyone and that desire to move forward, to go all for that goal, which is great and makes you feel accompanied in what would be the walk by steemit.

Likewise I can tell you that if we all push towards the same direction, nothing will stop us, because a good teamwork achieves much and even more if it goes hand in hand with a good administration and coordination (it's already coming out of me a little bit of what I learned in college subjects haha) and here is that fortunately.

Without further ado, thanks to those who read my comment, I will not leave without wishing you a good day, afternoon or evening.✌️

I could, and you could also google it.
Also, it is apparent by the conversations in the comments that piotr knows thats not the real ROI and using the term deceptively.

I read the post twice, as it seems to be the basis of your project. It seems to function, having benefits for groups A, B and C. It is a flexible adaptation to the actual, written and unwritten rules of the Steem realm.

On longer term, I'm skeptic, because:

  • Steem inflation is too high
  • Steem price is in downwards trend and I don't see any factor to change that (mass adoption has no sense for the masses)
  • Competitors can be strong (Ex. voice.com launching plans on the 14th of February, FB Libra or something similar)
  • I don't see enough good posts on Steem
etc. Maybe I should write my new post about it. Am I too pessimistic? Old grumpy man of me.

My question.!

Two of the three projects, A and B, will it run all the time or only a few time in the future?

All authors from our group are setting up 10-20% beneficiary from their posts to @ph-fund (project hope fund) and those resources will be used to support financially 5 well educated Venezuelans; right now I cover all those expenses myself and I'm hoping that within the next 3-4 months @project.hope economy will become fully sustainable.

Hi,

Working in this way requires significant capital to generate important profits. Because the more profits are good, the greater the interest in the subject and the greater the desire to create important topics, and the greater the desire for research and innovation.
It is very important and attractive and deserves to be part of this project.
We are also in Morocco. The situation is not much different from Venezuela or New Zealand. Everyone here wants to improve its financial position, but the problem of creating good capital remains to help in obtaining important profits weekly or monthly.
The project is important and deserves follow-up and attention.

I've limited time and upvotes and my priority is to invest both into publications of those authors who participare and support project.hope efforts :)

Hello, a couple of newbie questions

1.- How do I join this group??? what is the specific steps to join?? in my mind I was expecting like a facebook button that says "join group" but nothing of the sort is laid out. So, how do I join?

Dear @cryptolohy7

Thank you for choosing to post within project.hope HIVE/community. I was wondering if there is any way to DM you as I would like to explain little bit about our community goals and structure.

Do you use telegram or discord? If you do then join our server and give me a shout. I would gladly share with you goals of our community and explain our project.hope economy.

Discord server: https://discord.gg/yzMFjR

in my mind I was expecting like a facebook button that says "join group" but nothing of the sort is laid out. So, how do I join?

Anyone can subscribe to our hive/community and if subject of your post will fit within our interests then I will gladly support you with some decent upvote.

However if you would like to join to be part of our community, then obviously there isn't "join group" button. We're slowly and steadily growing and it's more like an 'invitation' based system. so drop me a message and let's talk :)

ps. how did you find this post? Im very curious - since this is quite old publication.

Yours, @crypto.piotr

Thanks @crypto.piotr @project.hope

Although new to PH, it is an interesting concept and I understand well from your post how it works. I love the Venezuelan them too. It is a nice idea of supporting a few people who are living through a difficult situation where that support helps others learn about things that can provide all of us with a better future.

I am an author, and I love what you are trying to accomplish here, but I must say that I don't think setting @ph-fund as a beneficiary would make much difference considering the low upvote I get. I love the vision and mission of the community, and I will try to create posts following the community standard.
