The history and current condition of flying an aircraft

It is my desire that one day I will be able to book a first class ticket on an aircraft, those who fly on a first class level are usually treated with more class and they are exposed to more satisfaction than those who fly with an economy ticket.

Today, we will be talking about the comfort offered by flying a first class ticket and the cost as well as a sneak peek into if any profit is made at all. Taking Emirates airline as an example in this case, booking their first class ticket is an amazing form of luxury where you will be offered the comfort of having a spa section and an expensive choice of wine, not excluding a full sized mattress you could rest on and a cool bathroom facility but all this pleasure and luxury does not come cheap, it will take up to $23,000 for a flight that is moving from New York to Dubai.

A fast history of airplane.

At first when aircraft came into the picture, everyone that flew was flying on a first class level since everyone received the same type of treatment. Using aircraft as a means of transportation back then could only be afforded by the wealthy men in the society mostly business men who had a business meeting to attend and they were few females on board back then, but that was before World War II.

However, things changed after world war II, a lot of other airline companies arose and the competition began, non-scheduled airlines reduced their cost of flying to attract more customers and later on thought it would be best to divide flying ticket into two: it will be called first class ticket for the wealthy travellers and the one for average travellers will be called coach ticket. Later on technology improved and there was room for more space in the aircraft and this gave the aircraft businesses the idea of creating more spaces for those flying on first class.

Pan Am was a luxurious flight it was the first of its kind and it was considered the queen of the sky because it provided so much luxury for those flying on first class, luxury service like a restaurant and wines were provided. The removal of government regulation gave room for more competition among airline industries and this gave birth to the rise of the business class, airline industries made a lot of money from the first class sector back then as almost everyone with money wanted to experience the feeling of comfort offered only by flying on a first class ticket.

The modern trend for first class travellers.

Before covid-19, private jet companies have gotten the market for first class travellers who can now travel over desired distance and the time they want it instead of waiting to book a flight.
Now that covid-19 has created an impact of having a lot of people hold business meetings over long distances without actually flying, we don’t know if people will still want to pay exorbitant prices to travel for a business meeting instead of doing it comfortably from their sitting room or bedroom.

I hadn't thought about that possibility that even flights could be affected once it is proven that technology minimizes that reality of having to travel, especially for those businessmen
But it is something that could happen, at least for business trips, but, what has to do with pleasure trips will surely be something else.

Yes pleasure trips might still get more people to fly than business trips.

It would be great to travel first class hehehe... the truth with the pandemic everything has been affected and with technology growing every day it is displacing other trades.
