Twitter has started testing of audio tweets

Twitter has released a beta version similar to AudioSpace and encouraged some users to use it, allowing small groups to create voice-based virtual rooms only.

Some of the screenshots in the news illustrate this point. This way users can either listen to the audio or participate in the conversation. The purple icons represent the audio meeting and the bubbles emanating from the icon represent the ongoing conversation.

Twitter announced the new feature earlier this month and will now select several people for testing. Twitter has said that the addition of a human voice on Twitter evokes emotions, empathy and other feelings that are lost somewhere in the text, which is why we are calling voice tweets a new way of communicating with people because sometimes the text is insufficient.

This will be indicated at the top of the tweet feed as to who sent the voice tweet, but on the other hand people will be able to join any ongoing conversation directly and go to Room to hear the whole story.

According to analysts, fans who follow a celebrity will now be able to hear his voice, but the reason is also being attributed to the recent Corona epidemic in which people are communicating with each other through Zoom and Voice app.

Twitter says that even if you dine with people at a table at an event, you don't necessarily know everyone, but you can sit back and take part in the conversation. In the same way, Twitter wants to create audio rooms or audio spaces.

Although some analysts have questioned the usefulness of audio tweets, Twitter says it is being tested and only after that can something be said. Meanwhile, Twitter is also working on an option such as showing hand gestures and conversation text live.

Thank you for reading! Stay Safe!👋😌

Audios are going to be the next biggest area of interest for media - I think, we had something on hive as well, can't recollect the name. If you see trends now, audio books are getting more attention which means, people love to hear instead of reading. Probably because they can do something else as well.

If rolled out worldwide, it would indeed be a great feature.

i find it interesting to see how these big conpanies seek to improve to keep their audiences captive, taday the fame that tik tok has at this time is something that threatens it's supremacy in the networks. now dealing with violent and rude audios are another difficult challenge to overcome.

Despite being a fun update... I think this can be a potential mess.
