IoT like we all know means the internet of things and it opens a whole new chapter to the system of technology, it provides a faster method in the delivery of goods and services, the impact of IoT can be felt in virtually every sector like the economic, political and even the social sector.

The first is artificial intelligence which is like the most obvious part of this great invention, artificial intelligence makes things a lot faster and easier. For example, the new system that amazon uses in their shopping centers, which allow customers shop and walk out of the shopping centers without waiting for a long queue to receive attention, you simply pick and walk out of the shop and you have the total amount of everything you’ve gotten added to your credit card, this is a great implication of artificial intelligence making life easier and convenient.

Rather than depending on network providers to provide network connectivity for everything we do, the idea of IOT can create small and cheap networks between its system devices.

IOT is the bedrock on which active engagement such as the ones we have on social media today is built.

With IOT mobile devices, laptops and other electronic gadgets have reduced in size and experts says we will still have smaller sizes of those gadgets.

IoT has been recorded to be the push behind the effective communication system present on social media.

IoT provides a better standard to the gathering of data and improvement of technology.

The idea of Internet of Things (IoT) offers clear and concise information, therefore getting rid of unnecessary information’s that serves as waste.

IoT provides accuracy, it presents an accurate picture of everything without making a mistake, take for example the case of a self-driving car, as long as you provide it with adequate instructions, it takes you directly to where you want, or even using the usual search engines on our mobile devices and laptops, as long as the information provided is accurate, it takes you to the right direction.

Disadvantages Associated with Internet of Things (IoT).

Like my grandmother will say: there is nothing that has an advantage that wiil not have a disadvantage, IOT is really effective and brilliant but it comes with certain disadvantages as well.

Security is always a big issue, as much as software providers and experts try to improve their system to get rid of hackers, these hackers seem to be more stubborn as they improve constantly on their hacking skills. IOT systems could be hacked and used to perpetuate unlawful deeds.

As much as we make use of IoT, we expose our personal details to the system.

There is a constant fear in the minds of people, that the IoT system could re-produce itself into a more complex system than anyone could probably handle.
