Fight against the covid-19

The good news regarding the fight against covid-19 is always encouraging, when this news is from my country I think it is very important, due to the nature of everything that happens in Venezuela. For this reason it fills me with great satisfaction to know what a group of Venezuelans are doing creating teams in order to weigh up what causes covid-19 worldwide but especially for my country.

In Venezuela there are about 100 respirators in operation and at least 5,000 of these machines may be required to serve COVID-19 patients, when the peak of the pandemic in the country is reached, which is estimated to reach the end of the year. May, this is the estimate they make due to the rapid spread and how the virus spreads.

The availability of respirators is one of the basic needs of the health system in the midst of the pandemic due to the large number of people who can become infected.

The members of a multidisciplinary team that recently joined to give life to the "Oxygen Pro" project, an initiative that seeks to alleviate the scarcity of resources and reduce the magnitude of the health tragedy facing the country.

Venezuelan professionals form a working group that is developing the artificial respirator in the country.
