Let's talk about 5G Technology and its alleged relationship with the Covid-19 - Part One
One of the few areas that has made a breakthrough in times of pandemic has been technology. And there is something that is much debated these days, with many pointing to it as the cause and others denying any relation of this technological area to what is currently happening.
I want to make a series of publications, this being the first one, in which I address an important and very current issue from two points of view (Technology, science and health), to have a more complete view of why there are those who agree and others who do not.
I want to talk to you about the new technology 5G
First things first: What is 5G technology? 5GT
In very simple words, we can say that this is the new generation in mobile communications. The big difference is that it will allow more devices to stay connected at the same time without decreasing the speed of the connection, in a given area. That is, if in 100 square meters there are 20 devices connected, but from that number (20) begins to fail communication, with technology 5g could be up to 200 or more devices connected simultaneously and have a higher speed.
This is basically what you get with it, optimize communication.
However, there are current theories, which are very widespread and are gaining strength, and are producing a great distrust of this technology. All this conspiracy trend has been gaining strength over the course of this year, especially since January when they began to be more and more videos about it in different channels of youtube and using social networks to reach more people (many who perhaps looking for an answer to all this that is happening believe the first thing they see), and related the T5G with the advance of the coronavirus.
In what way?
- By claiming that the radiation caused by this technology can cause alterations in the functioning of our immune system and make us more susceptible to complications if we contract the disease.
• Another theory indicates that somehow 5GT is capable of transmitting the virus. This is somewhat absurd, since technological viruses exist, of course, but they infect machines, not humans.
To such an extent has come what some call a conspiracy against 5GT that in the United Kingdom some mobile communication antennas have been burned and some engineers of these companies have been attacked.

There have always been those who claim that mobile phones among other household appliances are related to the appearance of diseases such as cancer, but scientific studies have shown that there is no relationship.
On this subject, the radiation they emit and the possible damage they could cause, I will talk about it in the next publication with more details. And here is the scientific explanation of why this new technology does not harm or is not related to the pandemic.
We have witnessed the technological advances that have been constantly taking place in the last 20 years, remote surgery, video calls, the evolution of robotics, intelligent traffic lights, cars that drive alone, among many other things. The main characteristic is the great capacity of data transmission, which will allow its use not only to be transferred to other spheres, beyond mobile phones and computers, but to be more robust and in a greater number of equipment at the same time. The speed with which the information moves will go from 100 to 1 millisecond, which will guarantee immediacy.

Although if states don't have the interest to keep the 4G internet working properly on this side of the world they will hardly do anything to have 5G. But hope remains @franyeligonzalez
