Generally, the internet consumes a lot of energy and therefore will have a huge impact on the environment, which is why the environment-focused Tow Tech magazine redesigned its website to use as little energy as possible.

The website will now work with solar panels on the owner's balcony in Barcelona Spain, also compared to most sites that update every time someone visits us, Low Tech Magazine is now a simple and static website that only generates once and simply exists as a document network on a laptop.

The site also uses compressed grayscale images and a default font, which means that users don't need to render any new files just to visit it, the images on the site use only about 10% of the energy that one would use. full color image, unfortunately as the entire site works with personal solar panels it sometimes goes offline in bad weather or at night, furthermore the project could lack funding due to technical limitations for advertisements.
