With Rokid's T1 connected glasses featuring a Qualcomm processor alongside a 12-megapixel camera and an augmented reality system combined with a video and photo recording mode with voice commands, this device could play an important role in detecting cases of coronavirus, helping to considerably reduce its spread.
According to Xiang Wenjie, the demand for the glasses has increased greatly, reaching 1,000 units sold in the last two weeks. The T1 glasses were developed by Rokid engineers in just two months and are already working in China in national parks, schools and by authorities for monitoring of covid-19 symptoms.

That is a great device indeed and can definitely help in the identification of Covid-19 affected individuals. However, there are many people who don't show any symptoms even if they have Covid-19 and this is where this device will be ineffective. Besides, it can detect high temperatures so a normal person with fever might be mistakenly treated as a Covid-19 patient if this device is used to detect symptoms.
But this device is still useful and will serve humanity even after this pandemic is over.
You are very right about this, however, this serves to detect high temperatures and can help that person to be tested, which will determine if they are infected or not, that's good, I think.
