POWERFUL WORDS: ACCEPTANCE.!

Hello my friends here another reading of reflection with a very important word in our lives (ACCEPTANCE).

First of all, let's define it:

” For psychology, acceptance means recognizing unwanted situations in our reality that we cannot do anything about, learning to assume them (without complaints or excuses) and thus strengthening our tolerance to failures, losses or disappointments in life. ” Source

I think it's a pretty complete definition and also focuses on what I want to play next.

Most of us are people who are unhappy both with ourselves and with the different situations we go through, for example, that person who always complains because he or she receives less merit than others at work or that person who is never satisfied with his or her achievements. In the little or much that I have lived I have learned that life is full of ups and downs, one day it can go super well but also change suddenly, or simply the next day we have to go through an unpleasant situation.

This is simply how life is and we must accept it as it comes, maybe we can not do anything to avoid it, for example, if we want to achieve a promotion or change in us we must ask ourselves what are we doing to achieve it? because obviously all this will not come overnight without any effort.

On the other hand, accepting ourselves as we are, I think, is the most important thing. That if we were born short, tall, thin or fat, then that is who we are and that is how we should love ourselves, if we want to change something that is because we want to and because it will benefit us in some way, but not because society forces us to do so.
Today there are many images of people that we should follow or we should be, Why?, because they are famous, because they have a channel on TV or because they exercise and eat healthy... We too can do many things and feel good about them. Today's society is very selfish and ruthless, that's the reality and the worst thing of all is that we let them influence our thoughts and therefore our lives.

To love ourselves as we are is the best thing we can give ourselves, with our mistakes, defects, failures, virtues, joys, sadness, rages and anger, nobody is perfect as they say out there, Why should we be?, LET'S NOT LOOK FOR PERFECTION BECAUSE IT DOES NOT EXIST, let's look for the improvement of certain aspects in our life, but as long as we are satisfied to do so.

Let's take off those chains that we put on ourselves, let's be free, let's show that the opinion of others is not of great importance to us or at least that it doesn't influence our thoughts which is enough, let's make our life, our mind healthier and let's leave all those complexes behind.

It is not wrong to want to change or improve, but not because you do not accept yourself as you are, that despite everything you feel you love yourself and that regardless of change or not, you are still happy!

THAT'S WHERE THE DIFFERENCE IS.

@franyeligonzalez wow very nice topic selection. I agree with you if one should learn the how to accept things in life and in his surroundings. Then we will never getting sad. He will always be in a happy mood.
