Aprendiendo a Reparar Mi Pc #01. / Learning to Repair My Pc # 01.
Hello friends of the hive! ... Several weeks ago we had problems with electricity again, daily there are blackouts and that caused my desktop PC to be damaged. So we decided to get something good out of this...
I am going to learn how to repair my computer, remember that in several publications I have mentioned that I like to take things apart, well this will be an adventure and a great learning.
There is a lot to learn and I have enough to read from, of course they will guide me to make it easier. To start I will only need a screwdriver or screwdriver, the first thing I will remove will be the left cover of the drawer or cabinet, this is done by removing only two screws on the back.
Then guiding me with a handle that has the lid, I pull back to remove it, actually so far this is not difficult at all.
It's exciting, I'm seeing the inside of my computer for the first time, now if I can tell you that it looks complicated, there are many cables and devices in here.
Yo tenía la maquina encendida cuando hubo un corte eléctrico y luego cuando volvió la energía eléctrica la computadora no volvió a encender así que la primera opción es revisar si la fuente de poder sufrió algún daño.
What I am pointing out in the next photograph is called the power source and it is the first thing we are going to review… Why are we going to review the power source first? This was my question and they explained the following to me: I had the machine on when there was a power cut and then when the power came back the computer did not turn on again so the first option is to check if the power source suffered any damage.
To remove it, I must locate and disconnect all the cables that come out of the power source and connect to any device; These would be: motherboard, hard disk, DVD drive, etc.
This wide and flat cable caught my attention, they explained to me that it is a very old technology that is no longer used. This got me thinking, if it is so old because it still works, I imagined it was called old because it no longer works.
The following is the main cable, it is connected directly to the motherboard, later they will show me what they are for and what is the name of each one.
Finally the smallest cable, I had not realized that it came from the power source, with this I learned to check all cables from where they leave to where they arrive.
With all the cables disconnected, I remove the four screws that hold the power supply secure and now it's ready to be removed.
I push it carefully and voila, it is free to remove it, all this I do with enough care to avoid hitting the motherboard.
Here you can see how I withdraw the power source ... Now I will learn to review it but that is already part of another publication, I thank you very much for your visit I hope everyone is very well...

Your post is very nice, I liked it.
I see that you take it easy, since what you do is extremely basic, so it would take you many publications to teach us a complete topic that we can put into practice.
I recommend that you try to be a little more extensive in your post, without losing your brilliant pedagogy.
Hello @juanmolina, thank you for commenting, I will take your advice into account.
