NASA figure resigns before historic space mission

However, Doug Loverro, in charge of the human flight division into space, set up resigned last Monday, NASA said on its website Guardian.

NASAgave a statement that Loverro resigned from his position as Associate Administrator. Seeing that Ken Bowesox, Deputy Loverro will continue his position, spokesmanNASA did not immediately respond to media questions about the background to Loverro's departure.

This announcement certainly shocked the space community. Loverro's past was a Pentagon official in his past. He was in the division of human departure toouter space NASA for several months.

The Washington Post reports that his resignation occurred after he violated regulations regarding the procurement of NASA spacecraft that were recently able to land humans to the moon, citing two people who knew about it.

Earlier this year NASA chose three private space companies to lead the development of the moon landing.

The three companies include Blue Origin, which is led by the CEO Amazon Jeff Bezos, SpaceX Elon Musk, and Dynetics from Alabama. The three are currently competing with each other to work on the program.
