The Future of Business and Jobs with Technological advances

As a lady, you would know that having a new born baby is a full time job and just like having a business is just like having a new born baby, it demands so much time, effort, and in most cases it is a full time job. Although no business in entirely stress-free but a few businesses demand more time and effort and even disrupt your daily activities. A few of these businesses aren’t even going to become a big corporation but they can be tasking as it could be done by only on person or a few people. A good example is an event planning business where people have to work round the clock to make an event look at its best even when the event owners aren’t willing to pay for the fantasies they want. There are several times a client will call for a change in plans or style and as an event planner, you just have to do it. In most cases, as an event planner, you are either spending a little out of budget or you are stressed out.

I am not talking about event planning today, rather I am talking about businesses technology will be bringing to humans as it takes over some jobs. At the early stage of typing, we had typist who used typewriter to punch letters into paper but as technology began to improve, we now have bloggers who write to everyone in the world. On a contrary to what people say about technology taking people’s job, I would rather say that technology will be giving room for another job opportunity although might reduce the numbers of people who often do the job in the past. Agriculture is another fantastic example. Before the emergence of vertical farming, ancient farming required a lot of people who would cultivate the ground and grow crops and we often call them farmers but with robots doing farming even in buildings where you do not expect crop to be planted via vertical farming, a different occupation is now arising called a vertical farmer. You might ask what differentiates a vertical farmer from a conventional farmer, well that is just the same thing that differentiates a typist from a blogger which is technological advancements.

To some people, Automation, robotics and artificial intelligence will take over the job industry but I will say that this will take over low paid jobs instead while creating a room for other job opportunities. I must say that automation and advance technology might end up to be a double edge sword with its good and bad side. On the other hands, business owners and administrative affairs in businesses aren’t threatened as most of the invention are being sponsored by business owners so as to make work faster and reduce pay. Think about the event planner having an automated machine that can help with repetitive event tasks, this will save the planner a lot of time and efforts which would be invested into other creative works.

I cannot say categorically that there is a future for most old times jobs in the nearest future, what I can say is that there will be ease for business owners as well as creation of new type of jobs and will need to acquire more skills to be relevant at that point.
