Space Technology - Amazing Technologies Which Would be Valuable to Humans and Space

Technology within the last century has been growing really fast and we have been enjoying this technology here on earth. From electricity, telephone, microwaves, electric automated vehicles and many more. True this things are making our world become easier and friendlier while growing our economy. Just like the earth exist, so does space exist and space technology is one thing that we need to explore. The reason why space technology hasn’t been really explored is because of the finance needed, as it is very expensive.

A lot of companies in conjunction with NASA have been working on a lot of space innovation so owe can explore space to its fullest. A few space technology includes;

Space Elevator

In 1895, Konstantin Tsiolkovsky talked about this innovation, also it has been seen in science fictions but it is still a work in progress in reality meaning it is still hypothetical. The elevator is meant to stretch from the earth surface to an orbital station. The elevator is going to have a cable at one end of the earth surface while another will be fixed to another point around the geosynchronous orbit relative to the planet around 42,000 kilometers from earth. The elevator uses centrifugal force to carry load and send it off the planet. It will be used to carry things to the space and reduce the expenses on rocket as it is really expensive to move cargo from earth to space. As good as this technology seems, it is not yet a reality and that’s because essential materials that could last for a very long time isn’t available.

Artificial Gravity in Space station

There are a lot of things that happen to human’s health once they leave gravity and in other to keep human gravity in space where there is no gravity, creating an artificial gravity will be best. Scientist are building a small centrifuge to be installed in space stations so as to keep gravity to a level of almost half that of the earth. The centrifuge will rotate around its axis just like a space station which plans to give artificial gravitation rotates around its axis.

Mini Space Craft

This technological advancement in space craft was discussed in 2016 when Facebook Mark Zuckerburg, Steven Hawking and a lot of other scientist decided to create a smaller space craft instead of the regular space rockets. This space craft is said to move at 1/5 the speed of light which is possible to carry passengers to mars in 1 hour. This project seems to be seeing the breath of life as over $100 million has been invested into this project and is planned to lunch in less than 20 years.
