Dark matter & Art - Contest Sponsored by LMAC and STEMsocial!

Welcome to this special collaboration between
Let's Make a Collage & StemSocial.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
~ Albert Einstein

Art and science are complimentary to eachother. There's a little bit of the other one in each of those disciplines.

Thanks to @shaka and @lemouth, both @lmac and @stemsocial came together and partnered up to bring this special round of science & art celebration! 🎨 ⚛

participants in this special are to interpret the exciting theme of dark matter and let this fascinating substance materialize as a collage.

💡 To learn about the scientific background of dark matter, read 👉 this 👈 article by the amazing @lemouth. ❤

(You'll find a great wealth of information reading his articles if you're interested in science and physics)

As for this special, you can read all about it, the rules, and how you can participate over here:
Art and Science, an LMAC Special - Teaming up with STEMsocial. Or over at the StemSocial community's post: Science and Art, the ultimate collaboration.

I decided to take the somewhat sarcastic and funny route about this, while trying to deliver some collage art.

The dice idea was inspired by the famous quote of Einstein "God does not play dice" in relation to the uncertainties the quantum world has.

The coding behind the curtains comes from an interesting "theory" that the universe could be a simulation running on a very powerful "computer".

You can probably guess the rest.

So I thought I'd mix things up a bit and throw in a bit of humor while trying to shed a light on dark matter!

¡Oh, @yaziris, gracias por usar mi figurita en tu collage!
Me encanta el guiño que haces al azar en tu escenificación de la ciencia. Es un collage de loas interesante.

¡Te deseo mucha suerte!

Can you please modify my office to make it watching the one shown in this picture?! I would love having something similar (also with the cool computers ;) )

We just have to get our hands on such comuters.. The rest would be history universe! :D

I love it! It's a true dark matter theme. God may not play dice in the quantum world, but he certainly seems to be playing it down here.

Congratulations on a really great Art/Science collage.

Thank you so much @agmoore, I'm glad you like it.

I'm more with the superdeterminism idea, which aligns with Albert's view "god does not play dice".
I believe the quantum weirdness can be explained and demystified with more deterministic ways.

There was plenty of small details in there, the code on the screen, the "To Do" list on the paper. (All just fun and sarcastic 😁)
Sadly the font had to be real small on that one, I don't know if it can be read.

Anyways, thank you so much for checking out my post. 🙂
