RE: Do Tiger-Fish and Hippo-Fish Get Along? A Collage for LMAC #77

Haha, I love this whimsical collage and as always, with a touch of science in it! Cuttlefish are so fascinating to look at. They really do look like small mutated hippos. Watching National Geographic or Discovery was one of my favourite things as a child and I feel like there's a little bit of those elements in this collage. I personally loved the gif! It's a good thing to add to this contest, to show the process. And I always enjoy it when the maker's process is a bit haphazard.

Hello my friend 🌼

If you like haphazard, you will love my creative process. Very little I do starts out linear. In the end I hope for logic, insist on it, but on the way it is all chaos :))

Thank you for liking my blog. It is such a pleasure to get lost in this activity. Sometimes I let important stuff wait because I'm involved in realizing an idea.

So great to see you back in action with such energy and talent. Good luck in the contest.

You know of this famous architect, MIes Van Der Rohe who advocated for "Less is More"? There's a whole bunch of us now who don't believe in the grid-lock city systems and saying that life doesn't plan itself out in neat iron-grids. So there's a counter "Mess is More" group of architects out there who believe that cities are meant to be chaotic but it is finding order within that chaos is what makes for a good place. Your comment makes me think of that!

I've been looking at pictures of 'less is more' since I read this comment. I have to say that when I decorate (I don't decorate, ever) less is more probably characterizes the style (lack of style). When my husband first saw my apartment, which I shared with my mother, he was stunned. There was virtually no furniture. It never occurred to me to buy furniture :)) However, I do appreciate architecture, and rooms, that reflect organic development, that reveal something about the creator. (I guess my apartment revealed a lot about me!)

Thanks for the lesson on style and architecture.

Have a great, creative, productive day my friend.
