Art and Science, an LMAC Special - Teaming up with STEMsocial
This week the LMAC community surprises us with an alliance between Art and Science. On the Hive platform this means a special alliance between STEMsocial and LMAC. The idea is to create a collage with which we can say how we conceive dark matter. It is a subject of physics that has become in vogue because of the immense implications that this concept has on the conception of the universe and all of life. Dark matter is invisible, it does not reflect light, nor does it produce it, it is a condition of life that we do not see but which occupies 80% of the universe! It is the matter that mediates the separation of the molecules that make up the universe. In the discourse of physics its importance lies in the immense amounts of energy it produces.
In human terms it is a condition that does not seem to affect us, unless we accept that in each of us, humble inhabitants of the planet, are organized the same elements that form the galaxies.
Esta semana la comunidad LMAC nos sorprende con una alianza entre Arte y Ciencia. En la plataforma de Hive eso significa una alianza especial entre STEMsocial Y LMAC Se trata de crear un collage con el que podamos decir como concebimos la materia oscura. Es un tema de la fisica que se ha puesto en boga por las inmensas implicaciones que este concepto tiene en la concepción del universo y de la vida entera. LA matería oscura es invisible, no refleja luz, ni la produce, es una condición de la vida que no vemos pero que ocupa ¡el 80% del universo! Es la materia que media en la separación de las moleculas que constirtuyen el universo. En el discurso de la fisíca su importancia radica en las inmensas coantidades de energía que produce.
En términos humanos es una condición que pareciera no afectarnos, a menos que aceptemos que en cada uno de nosostros, humildes habitantes del planeta, están organizados los mismos elementos que forman las galaxias.
I am absolutely certain that very soon we will have that answer. Nature, in the form of galaxies, in the form of flowers, in the form of birds, will give us the answer, as has happened since man has been man.
On this simple reflection I devised my participation in this interesting and special contest.
Tengo la total seguridad de que muy pronto tendremos esa respuesta. La naturaleza, en forma de galaxias, en forma de flores, en forma de pájaros, nos darán la respuesta, como ha sucedido desde que el hombre es hombre.
Sobre esta sencilla reflexión ideé mi participación en este interesante y especial concurso.
